What makes you think the news can actually be trusted? News agencies like Pravda have reported arms deals that actually never went through. If anything Russian news agencies have never learned accountability of facts like the media does in the West—and the latter still often fails at that. And its very funny to see you link to news sites that use pictures of planes taken (stolen) from the Internet and don’t attribute their sources—a trait of amateur, not professional journalism.

In court you cannot accuse someone of violating a contract on the belief that someone will do so in the future tense. This is just an indication that the Russians don’t know how the legal system works, or what a contract means—considering how they broke their own contracts with the Chinese on the IL-76 issue, why the Algerians are pissed off on the quality of their MiG-29s, on how the they suddenly raised prices on the Su-30MKI and the Indian carrier above the negotiated contracts or why the Indians are short. If you claim that a legal suit has been filed, its very simple to prove that. Name the court where it is filed in, plus the date and time. Which country and city the case is filed in. Simple as that.
And another thing, filing a suit does not mean you can win it. Even if the Russians did file suit, like they did against a number of countries that manufactured the AK-47, its not winnable. Filing suits is easy. Being winnable isn’t.

The fantasy world you are living in is that whether Russia can win these cases or not. They won’t, and for the reasons already given. In China it’s 20 years; in the US its actually even shorter, 17 years. Did Russia ever file patents around the world copyrighting aspects of the design, and if they ever did, when? How long has the Su-27 been around, well over 20 years?
Lets see how extensive the Soviet Union did copycat. They copied the Rolls Royce Nene engine for their MiG-15s, and by your definition, what the Soviets made were inferior. They copied WWII BMW motorcycles into the Urals, and by your definition, all the Urals should be inferior. The Ladas were all copies of Fiat 124, and inferior. The Whiskey, November, Echo, Juliet, Foxtrot, Romeo, Hotel and Golf submarine classes all have a hull design that’s basically copied off from the German WWII Type XXI U-boat, and so should by definition, inferior to the German Type XXI.

How is that relevant? The Indians have not started full Su-30MKI production, they have assembled with packaged parts and there is a few issues involved. Is the MKI being made in India from top to bottom? Or just assembling from Russian provided sets?
What about Embraer, who has a partnership in China? Look at GE, who has a partnership in China that even includes gas turbines. Look at Microsoft, who is making their largest out of the US facility in China. Look at Intel who is making a plant near Chengdu.

In order to have a lawsuit, you have to have a trial, and you can’t have a trial if matters of national security cannot be disclosed. No one will ever disclose an arms trade contract in court and any plaintiff who does that will lose his reputation, because the core aspect in armstrade is credibility in secrecy.
