Oh dear, shame to see it in such a drastic condition, at least the pilot was able to walk away.

Nice shots, got to agree with Holty, the Tonka pair look great. Was there another 9 ship of F-3’s? Also did the Danish F-16’s get up or were they just static?

Fantastic stuff, the Blue Angles and moon pic is my favourite. I should imagine it makes a nice change to be able to post a load of pics rather than just a couple on the P-O-T-N site.

Sort of, we have exchanged loads of e-mails over the last couple of years and i met him at Walney show and had a half decent chat. Got to ask the obvious question, why?

M6 pass is the easiest to get to and Dunmail Raise (south of Keswick) is a tricky climb. Lowfly has all the info you should need but it can be very hit and miss, no guarentees with this sort of photography i’m afraid.

Go for it, it would be great to see some shots, if your going to post a load then probably best to put them in photographic section. Roll on 28th July 2007, should be a great weekend up in Cumbria.

Tough luck, at least there was something to take piccies of and its better than being stuck indoors watching the Eastenders repeat.

Navy Jetstreams at Low level, now that is a rare sight, was that at Dunmail / Thirlmere or over on the Loop?

Just thought i’d share a pic of this Luton Minor. It was taken at Walney Island on July 16th 2005.

If and its a big if, everything goes to plan it may well be at the Waddington Airshow, as it is the final farewell to the Canberra. (though it will be displaying at RIAT too the RAF one that is).

I used to work at Cranfield with a company called Westley Aircraft, just wondering if Billins still own G-BTGP, Cessna 150 which i think was in a lovely shade of brown last time i saw it.

Looking at the Yakovlevs website they are due to provide their 4 ship display for the event.
