Hi Pondskater
Many thanks for all the information you have posted.
It helped my father to build these models.
El Saro G-AFZS at MAEE Helensburgh, Mazo 1941

Saro Shrimp in Shetland configuration 1945

Both Models together

I hope you like them.

Hi
Yes, Thanks for the piece of advise.
I contacted Philip and he kindly sent us a copy of his article. I agree with you about the useful background on the Shrimp.

Hi Chumpy
Many thanks for the photo. Its help us. 🙂
Hi Pondskater
Wooow. Many thanks for both photos. I knew that there should be more than one.
I am not sure but I believe that the serial number under the wing was added after the war, Am I right?
Talking about the J TK850, If the undersurface color was yellow I am not able to disting the division line between the upper and under colors on the fuselage. Any suggestion about this issue?
Again, many thanks to all of you.
Kind regards
Santiago
Hi
Yes, I tried to look at internet for further photos but there are only ones of this aircraft when she had the civilian registration (twin fin tail).
Chris, We are going to build two models of this aircraft.
The first one with the twin fin tail and the second one with the single fin tail.
That is whay I am looking for further information / photos of the TK850 (single fin tail).
Dave, that is a great place. I will check it.
Thanks
Santiago
Hi Dave
Yes, many thanks for your email.
Our problem for us so far is the TK850 since we cannot see clearly the division line between the uppersurface colors and the undersurface one.
Among that apparently there is only one single photo of this aircraft.
Shouldn’t be more than one?
Kind regards
Santiago

Thanks in advance

Hi Malcom.
Thanks for looking. I think you are right. That Hurricane looks like she carried Greek markings
Instead of RAF ones.
We can be sure which marking had the shark mouth Hurricane but probably /reek roundels too.
Kind regards
Santiago
Many thanks Richard.
Your excelent picture shows that I was wrong. 🙂
All the best
Santiago
Many thanks Mark V
So you think they weren’t 100lb bombs?
I never saw an early type of 250 lb bomb. Any idea about the camo of this Hurricane?
Cheers

Many thanks for looking and answred my post.
I have made the same question here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=28230
and another person post a much better quality photo.
Does someone know more about this Hurricane?
Many thanks in advance
Kind regards

Hello Sigurjon
Thank you very much.
I am speechless and really impressed. Thank you very much for your very detail response.
As per what you wrote we will do the Hurrricane Z4631 as “D”.
I think that I figure it out the pattern of the Z4631 which could be “A”?
Just to be sure, but were these Hurricane finished in Dark Earth – Dark Green with Sky undersurfaces?
Many thanks
Santiago
Thanks Steven. I have that book and it is really good. I will try to contact him.
I have also contact The Hurricane society and they kinldly offer help us. I have asked him about others Hurricane.
Many thanks Tim. It is very interesting what you posted. Please tell me if I understood well, Did the No.286 AAC converted Hurricane as target tug too?
Do you know which aircraft (serial) or have pictures of these aircraft?. I really want to do one of this.
Many thanks in advance
Kind regards

Hi
I knew about the CW20 (actually we made it in 1/72) but I didn’t know about the two C46 (44-77624 & 44-77627) used for parachuting trials.
Did they carried RAF markings? Is there any photo available of at least one of these C46?.
Many thanks in advance
Cheers
