I drive them for a living and notice it every time I get on one. All I need to do is go and sniff my uniform jacket and I get reminded of the 767 odour.!

    lol.

I was told that the smell is a combination of the food, fuel and toliets…

Shame we can only post pictures and not smells!

If only we could…that could be an entire thread feature by itself, lmao. 😀

Sorry, am I missing something here, but is this actually an airline…, or am I just being a complete plonker? 😮

One thing they could do is interview both pilots of each flight .
Just a few weeks ago, Sky 1 (tv channal) aired a documentry on what would happen if 2 aircraft collided over london

Not to be insensitive, but what was the outcome of the programme, as I find that some of these ‘documentaries’ that are shown on tv to be a tad unrealistic, imo?

When I first saw it, I thought it was a fake photo because there was no clouds, but saying that, there was hardly any clouds near me yesterday! 😮

Personally I think that people are starting to jump on the band wagon a bit here…it all started when the 747 with faulty engine was allowed to fly over London, which is a major issue, but I am sure that all pilots, whether it be a passenger and/or cargo a/c are fully trained to deal with situations like this.

Is it me or is there not a ‘no-fly zone’ over Central London anyway?

I recently travelled with Ryanair back to Gothenburg from Stansted and was first at the check-in, receiving boarding pass sequence number 1.
There was so much pushing and shoving at the gate I guess I was about number 100 to actually board!
That is one of my pet hates with Ryanair (plus the inflexible baggage allowance as practised at Stansted and yet at none of the other Ryanair terminals that I use). Unfortunately I am forced to use Ryanar to get to and from the UK from where I live.

That would **** me off big time…

However, with Ryanair’s new online check-in service, those that use it get priority boarding…I know it doesn’t solve the issue, but at least it might mean that you can at least not have to stuggle to board.

Is it me, or do others hate the smell of an aircraft when you first step onboard…?

Have just seen this on a website…

Brosnan shaken and stirred about losing bond:

That’s how Pierce Brosnan recalls reacting to the phone call telling him that he was being dumped as James Bond after having made four wildly successful films for the 007 empire – reports The Star. “God, it was a shock,” he begins, “One was very perplexed by such a decision. Then came anger. Yes, a whole bloody ****load of anger.” He slams his hand on the table, startling everyone around him on the glitterati filled terrace of the Intercontinental Hotel during the height of the Toronto International Film Festival. “You ask yourself how they could treat you like that after all you’ve done for them.” His blue eyes are frostier than the glass of ice water he sips to calms himself down…

I thought he made the decision to leave, he retired from the role because he said he had enough…or am I missing something here! Its a shame, as he was the best actor of em all!

I expect a multitude of compliants from Connery diehards now…lol. 😀

I hate to put a bad spell on this subject, but…is it at all possible that this draw was fixed, so that no-one won, so that it would rollover and make even more people want to buy a ticket?

    Btw, I won diddly squik with my no’s: 7, 15, 25, 34, 43 and 5, 8.

    If I won Euromillions (I haven’t bought a ticket yet!)…

    1. Pay off student debts (£20,000+)
    2. Donate £10 million to charities (proabably Cancer Research and Oxfam!)
    3. Buy a house in the UK
    4. Find an uninhabited tropical island and build a house on it.
    5. Buy a car
    6. Charter a 747-400 and take all my family, friends, relatives and forum members on a round world trip!
    7. Put £20 million in a trust fund for any future children/grand children that I may have

…and I can’t think of anything else at the moment, so I would leave the rest in the bank!

Once again, this thread appears to of decended into chaos.
Please let me know when some valid and useful info appears, and I might take a look, otherwise I am just going to leave you all to argue amongst yourselves.

    Enjoy! 😀

Can anyone find out and tell me what the average monthly ACIM lease rate is for a BAe 146 or Avro RJX100?

    Many thanks.

There was talk of a revival though. I belive the Lib Dem MP Lembit Öpik was trying to drum up support to raise £14million to get at least one Concorde back in the air for its 40th anniversary, but it is my personal belief that there is no way that Concorde will fly again, although it would be a welcomed suprised if it did… 😀

It’s been announced the Channel Island airline Rockhopper will be renamed ‘Blue Islands’ to improve its holiday image.

How is changing its name to ‘Blue Islands’ going to help improve its holiday image

IMHO I think ‘Blue Islands’ is a rubbish name. I much prefer Rockhopper… 😀

This is such an old game, but have you tried Half Life…? It was one of the most popular games of its time (2.5 million copies sold worldwide), and fits your requirements ok, although graphics might be a bit disappointing because of its age.
