WOW! 😀
Damn fine shot if you ask me, lovin the snowy landscape!
Here are my choices…
Third Best – First Choice Airways
I remember flying with this airline when it was called Air 2000, and it had the dreadful red and gold livery, and the service back then was not too good either, but they seemed to of transformed themselves over the last few years, and I had the pleasure of in-directly working for them (through a ground handling agency at LGW!) and really enjoyed it! Have flown with them on numerous occasions, and would recommend them to anyone!
Second Best – JetBlue Airways
Haven’t had the experience of flying with them, but would certainly consider it if I had to travel cross-states. And just from looking in Feb’s issue of Airliner World, they seem to be an airline with the most common sense – giving passengers a high quality service for a value for money price, why don’t LCC in UK/Europe offer this?
First Best – 😀 VIRGIN ATLANTIC 😀
Simply because I recently flew with BA Nov last year, and it was bloody awful, and so if I had to choose another transatlantic airline, VS has got my vote!
I don’t know you, but Happy Birthday anyway! 😀
Many Happy Returns!

Good news for us cheapskates who are after cheaper fares! 😀
Hopefully this will lead to expansion from their bases too.
I have just read this article…and I quote:
“…and the Club Europe cabin for business travellers will be axed on all short-haul European flights to and from BA’s regional airports.”
😮 😮 😮 ARE THEY MAD…!
How will axing the Club Europe cabin help to encourage business people to travel with BA? Won’t it deter people?
If this is the case, and if I was a business traveller, I would choose to fly with a low-cost carrier rather than pay the business class fare and only recieve an economy service… 😀
Do school trips count as ‘holidays’?
If so, San Francisco would have to be my top holiday destination because there is something for everyone to do!
If not, I suppose my favourite holiday holiday destination would have to be Cyprus…my family went on holiday to Paphos for 2 weeks, and loved it so much that my parents want to buy a property out there to retreat to during the UK winter!

It’s a very “hip” name though sadly I see it as a fad. What on earth was wrong with British regional as it was…or even like you say CitiExpress!
CitiExpress to me deoesn’t have the same ring about it than what BA Connect does…, but hey, we are all entitled to our own opinons… :p
wow its so…not different! A one class layout, are the inter-city business travellers not going to be slightly disappointed with that?
When you say ‘a one class layout’ do you mean the same seats, seat pitch and everthing else is exactly the same throughout the aircraft?
If so, how can that be, as that would mean the aircraft would have to be a strictly business class config, otherwise the business class passengers are going to recieve the same service level as an economy passenger but have paid a much higher price?
Is it me, or does anyone else think that British Airways should rename itself simply as ‘BA’ (just like they did with Deutsche BA – now called DBA!) as that is what is more commonly referred to as nowadays, British Airways seems a bit dated…
I like the name ‘BA Connect’ though…is much better than ‘CitiExpress’ 😀
Guys,
Am expecting to be flying to Houston on Sunday and haven’t been able to get my usual KLM tickets (which is a shame as I was hoping to get a ride on the BBJ). Anyway, looks like I’ll be routing through Gatwick and am flying BA World Traveller Plus – BA Club World is way more expensive than KLM business fares, so my company never pays it.
As anyone ever used WTP (I haven’t)? What are the main differences from standard economy? Any thing I should really look out for?
Haven’t had the chance to experience WTP yet, but am going to in August as I am going on a holiday of a lifetime…fly to Calgary with Air Canada, snowmobile over to Banff, Rocky Mountaineer train to Vancouver over 2 days, 7 day cruise to Alaska to do whale watching, and last two days in Seattle (in which a tour round the Boeing factory will be in order me thinks! :dev2: ) Am so looking forward to it…
😀 😮 😀
I am flying with BA in WTP on way home to LHR, so please let me know what the difference is, if their is a difference!

Sorry for bringing this topic back up, but here is my dog, Millie. She’s a 14 month old Labrador.
I got a labrador too…she is 8 years old, name is AMBER… and she has a pink nose too! 😀

Big Brother is a load of c**p if you ask me…especially the celebrity versions, why do celebrities degrade themselves like this, it is as thought they have got a point to prove or that they think it will help their image/reputation!

DID ANYONE WATCH?: Invasion, last night, Channel 4, 8:30 & 10pm – what a show 😀 did you see the lights?

Not bad, but I still hate those light blue engines, looks so unfitting.
Yeah I agree about the blue engines, they should be in red.
Can’t say that I like the livery, but perhaps that has something to do with the fact that I can’t stand classical music…? 😉
Nice photos, am lovin the First Choice one!
