Well, Nacton Road international airlort surely!
As I said in my last post…check the General Disscussion thread…you will find that it is being filmed at RAF Bentwaters! 😀
MODS…this thread needs to be closed, as it is pointless having two threads of the same topic, and also it is in my humble opinion that this has nothing to with commerical aviation – or do I stand to be corrected! If so, I apologise.
…but people are now lobbying for its complete closure
EDIT – I agree, they really need to relocate to an empty area and start again,
😡 Do you have a viable source for this (i.e internet link)??? 😡
In response to what is said…
Do you really think that LHR would be closed altogether…? It is the busiest airport in the world in terms of international traffic, and plays a major role for tourism and also for the economy of this country. The idea of it being closed completly is just a ludicrous rumour…
One thing I do not understand though is why do people that live near big airports, such as LHR, complain about the noise… they chose to live there, so they should be made to accept that there is going to be a higher level of noise due to the high number of aircraft movements… If it is a problem, there is one simple solution – move elsewhere! 😀
Look elsewhere…?
There is already a thread on this topic in the General Discussion forum page, all your questions will be answered there…! 😀

Shouldn’t this be on the Photographic Forum? 😀
I did not put this thread in this forum, I put it in the Commerical forum where most others post their images, but someone seems to of moved it into here…?
It is actually a dedicted website, only a link from a.net…
This link will take you to home page…http://gc.kls2.com/
Nice routes so far, just wait for mine…
Looking atthe EXIF data stored in the images they are all ISO 50. This means that the sensor needs to be exposed to the light longer, thus the longer shutter times.
Try upping it to ISO 100 or 200, especially in days when it’s anything ofther than bright sunshine.
Also they all state that you are using DIGITAL ZOOM, this is not the best way to zoom in as the camera is trying to simulate a longer zoom by inserting additional pixels into the image (to make it look better), and this gives the fuzzy effect on the image.
Looks like the camera is also set in MACRO mode !
Thanks for the advice…will experiment with the camera settings to see what I can do…
As for the zoom, I have only got up to 4 x digital zoom, nothing else… is this a problem, and if so, would you know how to rectify it…?
The role and value of cargo is too important to most airlines to waste too much space for humans below the maind deck! The space if often impractical and can be better filled with cargo.
Q. Do all airlines carry cargo (i.e charter/low-cost)?
If not, is there potential for more seats on the lower deck?
By Heli or Fixed wing? I flew a manx flight from EDI to GLA, but I don’t know if there is anything now. A Heli would prove useful due to reduced check in, but a normal commercial flight would loose any time benfit with all the check in guff.
I was thinking fixed wing, I had always presumed that Loganair did a service between the two…just goes to show how wrong I can be!
😀 😀 😀 What a wicked idea…that would be an awsome some of income, especially doing it through an auction, and also reduces the problems of the management having to choose the name of the aircraft as well…, although I think that it is a mistake that Virgin are the first to try it as they are usually quite good at coming up with names for their aircraft – G-VFAB (Lady Penelope) is a prime example… 😀 😀 😀
The current cheapest fare is £611.60, one-way from Dublin to Tel Aviv. with ryanair’s low prices I’m sure they could undercut this by a good £100 and make a handsome profit, more than you would in Europe as a result of competition from other LCCs and Legacy carriers cheap return fares
Knowing what Ryanair are like, I am sure that they will undercut the fare you stated (£611.60) by much more than £100…but the question I would like to raise, is would a 737 even be able to reach Isreal – not too sure about technical details of 737, as I prefer the A320 myself. 😀
I can see it now… “Flights to Isreal from 1p!” posted all over their website…
Very nice indeed…I particular like the flyglobespan one!
Who do you think would take them up on the offer…Air India, Emirates(?), or would it go to charter operators…?
I’m certianly am up for it……. If your paying :D.
Three words mate…
“IN YOUR DREAMS!”
:dev2:
How much are they? I think a heli would be more than suitable, and these are obviously available at the moment. I’ve often though a heli would be a good shuttle between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Being an English gentleman, I don’t know much of the goings on in Scotland, but is there not an air-shuttle service from EDI-GLA already, and if so, why not…?
