Last flight from BRS is today (7/11/2010).;)
I think it would have something to do with the merger.
It would probably mean that it was one of their 752’s with the new United titles on it.
Better safe than sorry!;)
As much as I would love to believe this and the thought of a new Concorde-ish type aircraft gracing the skies would be fantastic, I am fairly sure that SRB and the Virgin Group would use far more and far better channels of communication to keep people updated, rather than a simple blog site (which incidentally only has 1 follower, the creator of the blog!)…;)
My main Purpose was to see Continental Airlines for the Last time at BRS as Today is there last day there, however i missed it.
…:(…. (all that needs to be said really!)
Granted the KL F70 is a beauty, but don’t for one minute think that that lets you off the hook!:D
Very nice indeed. Great picture, thanks for sharing.
I believe it operates as a troop charter.:)
I usually get excited when I hear about a new livery, and I’ve been thinking that MH has needed a re-vamp for quite a while as I see them on a daily basis at LHR, but when I saw this it actually made me like the old style livery even more than I do now…
Would be interesting to see the new livery applied to their 747s to fully appreciate the latest scheme, but I doubt it will do much to change my opinion.
Sounds interesting, and probably will do quite well being a low-cost carrier as the Carribbean inter-island market already has quite a number of airlines who are all very competitive, but prices can be quite expensive.
The following link has a picture from the launch party which was held on Saturday:
Quite agree 27vet.:)
I do find it a bit off that the site has been closed down…
The actual reason it was closed down was not due to the fact that the site criticised Ryanair directly, but the fact that it had small adverts featuring links to rival airlines, which generated a small profit…£322 to be exact!
Anyone that chose to read the content of the site should surely be able to come to a decision for themselves as to whether Ryanair really is “the most hated airline” to travel with or not, and its not as though he was forcing readers to book with rivals as they would have had to click on the link itself. At the end of the day the guy was just giving his opinon (just like I am here!), and the site would hardly make him a fortune.
Maybe Mr Tyler should resort to music to help his cause, just as Dave Carroll did when United Airlines broke his guitar:

The major difference here is at least United were “gracious in accepting the criticism”, you certainly dont get any kind of gracious acceptance from Ryanair…for anything!
I suppose it very much depends on the situation…for medical diversions I am not too sure, but in the case of a passenger being rowdy/disruptive onboard which leads to the aircraft having to divert en-route, I believe that the airline will pay the necessary charges initially, but can then ask that the passenger pays for it if they persue it through the courts!
Keith, I think it should read…
EZY thingy with a damaged B767 in support! (Sorry Rob, couldn’t resist!:D)
BD may well have cash issues, and this will no doubt be causing quite a bit of concern for LH, which may well lead them to regretting the purchase of it, and could lead to a quick offload/sale before it becomes a “dead horse” so to speak.
SRB/VS could well consider the option of purchasing BD, re-branding and re-developing it into something as a subsidary of the Virgin group, thus giving VS entry into the Star Alliance?!
But to use a quote from Benji Dunn (expertly played by Simon Pegg!) in Mission Impossible III: “I don’t have any idea…I was just speculating!”:D
According to someone I have spoken to, they operate a charter flight to AMS, and I also know that they operate a similar flight to/from Lydd in Kent.;)
I think it looks fintastic! (Just thought I would get in on the act there!:D)
As for the yellow spot, I don’t see a problem with it, in fact I think its what makes it a bit more quirky and its quite a nice thing, otherwise it would simply be another dull blue&white livery, but still an improvement on the previous one for sure!
Question for Keith and/or The “Eh” Team…
Any ideas what the Aeronova Metroliner is/was doing, everytime you guys post pictures up here I see one of their aircraft, and just wonder what it does at NWI, is it based there or does it have maintainence done on it there?
Great photos btw, thanks for sharing.:)
