Notice how few of the original B717 operators still got them.
Hawaiian is one of them, aren’t they?
It’s grey, it’s dull, it’s zzzzzzzzzzzzz…:)
Sums up people that fly on business nicely there Ren Frew!:)
To be honest though, what did you think it would be…shocking pink!:D:diablo:
Thanks for the heads up.
Do they accept shortened version of names? For example, through the ‘Diamond Club’ all my bmi bookings appear under ‘Sam’ and there’s no problems there…
Nope, they are quite insistant on it being the same as the passport!
For example, I had a passenger the other day who’s first name appeared in his passport as Thomas, but he put Tom on his booking…and he got clobbered with the charge!
If you look at it from the airlines perspective though, they do have a valid reason, however, I do somehow think that £30 is somewhat excessive and could be a way of generating ancilleray revenue because they know that passengers could easily overlook the small details such as a name.
Like I said in my first post, make sure its exactly as it is in your passport; doesnt take more than a few seconds to check your passport beforehand and then you should avoid any embarrasment at the airport on the day and not have to pay any penalty!
A bit risky, but so far its fine!
Well I have a Mastercard which is associated to bmi, so I got automatic membership to bmi’s Diamond Club and 20,000 bonus miles if I spent £250 within 90 days of activating my card (which I did…:D!), and everytime I use my card I get points that are then converted into miles which can then be used at a later date for rewards through bmi or any Star Alliance/partner carrier.
The only thing I have noticed is that my card is due to expire in Sept, and bmi no longer offer the Mastercard credit card, its now American Express, so will my credit card company still issue me with a new MC or just change me over the AMEX one? Suppose I will have to review it when it comes to renewing, to see if its worth it.
I also have a Visa card, but this only used when I am abroad and for real emergencies.
Might sound a bit risky, but I actually tend to pay for most things on my credit card. So far I have never made a late payment or gone over my credit limit, and the credit card company have not radically increased my credit limit…only gone up by £300 in two years, which is probably a good thing as it keeps the temptation from spending unnecessarily!

Getting the hang of this now.
Boeing finally gets round to testing the 787 Dreamliner!…:D:eek::diablo::p

Wow, what an excellent trip report with some great photos…I so want to go to KUL now, maybe I’ll look to go with Air Asia X once they start their services to/from Stansted!(wink wink, nudge nudge Mr Rice!)
Oh, and just to clear up one minor detail you touch on right at the start of your report…the football stadium with an arch over it must have been Wembley (not Arsenal’s as you first thought!) as that is the only one with an arch over it as far as I am aware, but happy to be corrected if necessary.;):)
Did it look like the one in this picture: http://www.ichauffeur.co.uk/a/i/wembley-stadium.jpg
I was hoping to fly out with Aer Lingus as they do an early morning flight…
Doesnt KLM fly to/from AMS to/from either BFS or BHD?
If not, I would have thought this would have been quite a popular route for them given the fact that they serve quite a few places in the UK already, but now that EI is stopping its services, maybe they might start a service to replace it?
Any bets on how long before it’s a Hollywood movie???
Wonder if they’ll offer Sully the lead roll…as only he would be able to pull it off properly!:p:diablo:
There is no legal requirement for there to be toilets on aeroplanes. Thus, hyman rights don’t come into it.
Andy
Does that apply to long-haul flights as well…?
(I’ll be :eek:/:mad: if it does!)
Oh dear god, they get worse…that looks horrible, the blue just doesnt suit it at all!
I can certainly say I saw a very positive side of hypnotherapy there and I have the video evidence to prove it…
But yes I’d certainly recommend giving it a go. I was well impressed.
Thanks for all the comments.:)
I have decided to give it a go and attended my first session earlier today and must say I am very impressed; certainly a weird experience when you do it for the first time, but anyway I do actually feel quite a bit better even after one session…!
Are there any smokers out there?
If you want to give up the habit, why not consider giving hypnotherapy a go as it is suppose to be a great way of quitting.

Good to see you actually booked the Porter flight mate! Lucky for some!
Thanks Josh, yeah it was lucky actually because originally the fares were $69 one-way the other week, I came back to book them and it had gone up to $135…so I put it off.
Was just by chance that I decided to check their website again today and the fares were back down to $70 this time, so I booked it!:)
