Change of Auster – i’ve been given the Auster frame hanging from the roof of the hangar (above the T6) as it’s in better condition. This one is G-AJPZ

Ah, so the other one is the anon’ AOP.6 then ?

GJD may have handled the sale through their website – but I saw it at Cronifers (Chesterfield) before it appeared on their website. :p
It was mentioned to Bill the same day, whilst retrieving some bits of Hunter XE597 which Bill was putting on a trailer for Mick & Bob. 😉

Yeh whatever……. I’ll go fall on my stihl saw or something

It is, just modified for ground use.

But i wonder if anybodys ‘converted’ a Meteor back to a Merlin for static display and/or ground running ? Maybe ‘merlinPete’ knows ?

To put you all out of your misery, it was me. I am going to be the new owner of XA903. I am just a regular sort of guy with a passion for aviation, and an understanding wife.

Or better still folks, here’s Steve’ s site.

And I’ve got this Victor sitting here too. Perhaps over the weekend of the Auster event at Eggesford when Mr Langham is down our way?

    Martin

Possibly, but would you care to elaborate whats happening at Eggesford ? Or is it a private pow-wow ?

The following weekend is the (previously postponed) VJ day airsho at Dunkeswell with Sea Fury, BBMF, Catalina, C-47, Pembroke, 2x JP’s, An-2, and Miles duo all booked to appear, so maybe you or the Auster guys will be there also ?

….ands off our new restoree – he doesnt like Harriers and thinks jets smell – we have indoctrinated him into the Way of the Radial

    TT…. do Anson’s count ? 😉

Umm suppose I’ll have to and get a few of those to add to my ‘stock’. If you autograph one for me, will it got up in value? 🙂

Ooh yes, me too please TT, before they get snapped up at the Sywell show. 😀

Cant stop buying kits…..last week added yet another Airfix T-6G (the old Heller one) to my collection and a Academy T-6G on Friday. Already got lots of them already and now I hear Revell are releasing a new 1/72 Harvard Mk.IV next month.

Need to make some more room in the house…..perhaps dispose of my TSR2s to make room!!

    Martin

….and dont forget i’ve got nearly a dozen assorted Harvards/Texans waiting here for you Martin. 😮
