As Steve says, Malta-The Hurricane years etc… plus i picked this one up at the Ta’Qali museum:-
Victory in the Air by Richard Caruana
You mean this one………?
Bloodnok… i think you ought to mount a rescue mission or similar ?
there’s a spare nose plexiglass in the local military surplus yard, its a bit scratched now, but i’m sure with a bit of work most of them would polish out.
Nigel (aka ‘Buccsociety’) would be pleased to here that.
He knows someone who’ll take a mould & run off a fresh batch, but they just need an original to go by.
Any idea if that ones available Bloodnok ?

Bruce,
Perhaps you can enquire/get a straight answer* (*delete as appropriate) about the Lincoln/Lancaster chunks shown behind the Vampire ?
.
is there enyone out there who loves the A-3 Skywarrior and the A-5 Vigilante ?
Oh yes indeedy…. 😀
You cannot retract the bid during the last 12 hours of the listing, unless the seller agrees.
Ah, there you go Mark, i thought so.
Yes, i must admit to the odd chuckle when i see sellers description includes wording like… “bid now, dont wait until last minute as i will end auction at T-minus 5 minutes” as i’d like to see them try it ! 😀
There used to be a regular seller who ended his auctions at some random time in the last 5 minutes. He said “I hope this returns the auction process to the person that bids the most money rather than the one with the best sniper program”. In my opinion the bloke was a complete fool who had no understanding of the way eBay works.
Mark,
Are you sure about that ?
As a seller myself, the eBay system prevents withdrawing an item if it has bids and less than 12hours to run (used to be 24hrs).
Ditto with bidding…. if you place a bid a few hours/minutes before i dont think you can retract your bid, maybe someone knows more ?
As an aside, i won something from a French seller, but he wasn’t happy with the price reached (eg: i was the only bidder & it had a low start). When i complained and eBay looked it it, the so called ‘contract’ i entered into was worth diddly squat as apparently a seller has no obligation to actually supply the item and eBay have no power/inclination* (*delete as appropriate) to make him do so.
As this was a dispute between two countries, i’m not sure if that holds up if it where a UK-to-UK transaction, as the law differs in some countrys (eg: privacy laws in Germany prevent requesting a vendors information or even looking at what German eBayers are bidding on)
Cheers………
…and please tell me somebody, what is ethically or morally wrong with bidding during the last few seconds either by software or stopwatch.
Mark
Mark,
Nothing at all IMHO… :diablo:
Nope, neither of those……… 😉
Provost (apparently) has two panels that swing out for access. And the mystery one is slightly deeper and not as wide compared to a JayPee 3, and yet has holes for wing tanks selection
Actually TT i’m only jealous at the amount of help. Perhaps the combined might of the forum can’t identify this mystery RAF panel then ?
I can’t quite make out the credit card numbers….
I can and i’m gonna try for the Flea on eBay :diablo:
