Mog , these babies are license losers , half the revs of a Jap bike and double the torque , burbling along at 7000rpm you always feel like the bike is just idling along until you have a look at the speedo and sh1t yourself when you find you are sitting at 120mph . Any photos of your SP ??.

I used to have the same ‘problem’ with my Triumph (Hinkley) Tiger… far too easy to go far too fast far too regularly!
thats why I ride something more ‘involving’ these days which makes you work a bit more to ‘make progress’ !! 😀

wasnt there an episode of The Twilight Zone that used the same idea but had a pax. on an airliner looking out the window and only he could see the ‘gremlins’ pulling bits off of the aeroplane..?? 😮 was also used in a Simpsons episode with Bart being the only one to see them loosening the wheels on the school bus..!??

anyways, the value of the book has got to be a nice suprise for ‘Bert Van Dalen’ .. thats another one to keep an eye out for at car-boot sales then…

What a lovely thought Steve 🙂

I found it most heartening to see all the forum faces present yesterday, some of you I know well, some of you I had not met before. Apologies if I did not speak to you all, it was not my intention to ignore anyone.

I have to say, the hardest part for me was walking back out of the chapel…for it felt like we were leaving Steve behind…but later on I realised that we didn’t really, as he will live on in the hearts of everyone who cared for him.

And thank you Melv for holding my hand when I needed it most (sorry about the soggy tissue though ;))

I cant really add much to what Becka and others who were there yesterday have posted… just my thanks to everyone involved in setting everything up yesterday, it really was a special day.
thankfully Melv didnt hold my hand, but he did buy me a beer.. 😮 😉 😀
