nope no where to overnight, but they do open up on the Friday to view the arrivals, think its about £5 a car or something – worth doing, especially as the normal viewing enclosrue will be closed.. I’ve not had a problem getting in or out of Waddo, I normally ignore the signs directing you to car parks round the Waddo village side and use the enterance off of the A15 by the viewing enclosure.. 17 and 29 Sqns RAF are both ’90’ this year, but I dont think they carried the Sqn ‘colours’ till the 1920’s… anyone know??

That is a shame but hopefully it is also an indication of the numbers we got through the gate!
    .

Looked like they had quite a good crowd, especially for a Saturday… also seemed to be a lot of ‘Joe public’ which has got to be a good thing.. lets hope it happens again next year.. Neil.

Thanks Rlangham, although the Railton was imaculately presented at Dunsfold, the Bentley driver had the balls to let the Napier Lion off its leash.

    Septic.

whenever I’ve seen the Bentley in action its always been driven in a ‘spirited’ manner! Silverstone before they messed around with Woodcote corner springs to mind..
but you cant fault the finish on the Railton – almost looks like the work of the forum polishing team..!

It’s a real shame, I was really looking forward to photographing the Hurri and Susy in the air for the first time this year 🙁 You’ve done well to get that pic!

Hmm yes I’m disapointed to miss that too, but looking at the weather I didnt think it would clear up enough – it p’d down all the way home too.. my first visit but wont be my last, it was a nice suprise that its almost exactly the same distance from me as Duxfiord is but a much nicer/quicker drive!

What’s the story with the Buchon – has it flown yet?

dont believe so, spoke to someone there who said it had been spotted taxiing – hopefully the next step wont be too far away… 😀

I’ll be trundling down south for this one – I’m sure my Dad has sussed-out that my visits to see him seem to coincide with airshows/forum meets! 😉 😀
looking forward to seeing the B of B Hurri and Spit together..
