Duxford is Junct 10, Junct 9 is the one south of it.. I know you can get off the there and head up the A11 but not sure if you can get on

ta… shame that as the previous system worked well… oh well, at least having to park northside will discourage me from buying anything from the ‘tat’ stalls!! 🙂

as I understand it, the Dak was donated to the Glider project, which is a volunteer/civvie outfit, rather than RAF Shawbury… presumably the aim of the project is to get the finished a/c out on show to the public as a memorial to the crews involved, therefore needs to be at somewhere accesable – eveyone seems to be suggesting Cosford at the moment as a suitable site…

I popped in there today and they’re still hoping to run weekend tours on the weekend of 3rd and 4th July, subject to the hangar work being complete..

I believe that its just ‘pointy noisy things’ plus transports…

VC10 with 2 X Jag
TriStar with 2 X Torn GR4
E3 with 2 X Torn F3
Nimrod
C17 leading the formation… for anyone up this way, they are practising on Weds 9th June and should be over Waddo at around 15.00L.. same time 10/11th if weather not good..

looking at the BBMF prog that I’ve got they’re pretty busy that weekend elsewhere.

I’ve had probs on ‘jetphotos’ because of security settings/not accepting cookies..
