Town of about 250K here…. we have at least 70 different versions of “christian”… none of them seem to be on the same page as any of the others. My ex took my kid to her version & she came home in tears. Said she’d never go back as some effing moron told my (then 7yo) kid that I was “going to burn in hell” because I didn’t go to their church. It’s only a couple of miles away so I drove over there & I straightened a few of their drones out.:diablo:

Without derailing this thread. I feel that’s a bigger threat to the way of life in the US than some gangbanger/burglar/idiot with a gun.

.Lets say one of your aircraft has or MAY have have had a slight operating prang which hasn’t been reported or even caused a problem yet someone rings up someone on the airfield to get information that hasn’t been confirmed would you still be happy to have information spread from a third party source to a stranger on the phone,doesn’t that come across as weird.
Not only that,the guy giving out information which may or may not have been accurate to someone over the phone could be opening himself up to alsorts of recriminations and possibly a breach of confidence.
Even more basic than that,the guy on the phone may not have heard of any prang and can’t answer it anyway.

So what you’re saying here is you expect the owner of an aircraft involved in a minor prang to contact EVERYONE at the airfield & forbid them to talk to anyone on the phone about what they can see out the window?
Recriminations & breach of confidence? seriously? So you expect someone like the Bloke In Charge at Hangar 11 (ferinstance) to have EVERYONE at North Weald sign confidentiality contracts? Yeah, good luck with that…:rolleyes:
