The homeowner loses material possessions and the security of their home. They’re important things, and I’m not belittling the profound effect of their loss.
But surely you don’t think they’re more valuable than someone’s LIFE ? Good grief !

The perp has the choice of not breaking into your home & therefore it’s his choice if he wants to risk getting shot & losing his life.. or not…. Some people have trouble making wise decisions, graveyards are full of them.

So instead they break into your house with a bigger gun than yours – then what?

Home field advantage, I know the layout of my home. 😉

& as for a bigger gun? really? the next caliber up from a deerslug is a 22mm cannon…. not sure anyone would be carting one of those around to rob someone?

& if any idiot breaks into my home armed with a screwdriver they are going to find themselves woefully unprepared thanks to the M&P .40 & my trusty Mossberg 590 filled with #00 buckshot & deerslugs 🙂

    Talking of old stuff….
I was down in Santa Monica 3 weeks ago & there was some trendy clothing store whose entire window display was vintage sewing machines. A quick calculation totted up about 500(!) of them….

Called Mac about that box today, $9 for new keys & it’s already stripped for refinishing… Not sure what crap they used for paint, but it wiped off with steelwool, lacquer thinner, paper towels & a rag. Only took about 10 minutes to get it looking like this:

Awaiting call back from the local powdercoaters with a quote…

I seem to have a slight problem… I can’t fit anymore toolboxes in my garage unless I park my truck outside.. Today I dragged this MAC box home for $75…

Owing to lack of space in my (1000sqft) garage this box is getting new paint etc & going in the kitchen as a microwave cart with the drawers being used for spices etc. Handle on the end makes a neat towel rack.

What? I’m single remember, no Mrs61 to pitch a fit about it. 🙂

Nearly mashing a fox on the way home – from 50mph to 20 in 0.5 seconds…!

Luckily, foxy woxy realised that the imminent impact might actually hurt, so he moved a bit sharpish!

Almost clouted a Coyote with the bike the other night, big ****** too.
