Didn’t Bruce Lockwood take NH749/G-MXIV there one year? I seem to remember a picture of it with race numbers on. Probably in one of jeremy Flack’s books. What happened to him?

He lives up in Tehachapi I think, He hangs out at Mojave airport.

I went to the local racetrack where a bunch of old duffers were giving their vintage iron a bit of a workout….Which, given the date, was quite fitting 🙂 And yes, it IS aviation related.. check out the carb plug on the Matchbox 🙂

As the person responsible for the colour scheme I can assure you it isn’t.

I know it isn’t, I was just saying that’s what it looks like. It just looks ‘wrong” is all, even if it is 100% authentic/accurate.
