Jim Tobul in the Corsair did a 1.32 lap at 315mph
Curt Brown in Sawbones qualified at 422mph
RareBear at 476mph
In other Reno news, 2 of the SIX Seafuries on the ramp are running the original Centaurii, although Hoot Gibsons 3350 went pop & only 5 of the 6 were listed for the races.
That type of wooden hut are scattered all over Cambridge, might be worth a visit. Also, lots of BoyScout units got them surplus.
In future, have the parts shipped to France (for instance) & then forwarded. France doesn’t charge import duty/tax etc as the parts are just passing through.. & the UK doesn’t charge because the parts “came from France”.

We figured out fitting the tank to the aircraft first didn’t make any difference. The first order of business was evicting all the BlackWidows from what they obviously thought was some kind of vacation spot.
