    Goblins??? Grow up.

You can —- go out hunt them down and kill them before they strike again.

You’re having comprehension problems again. I said “If I could, I would”.. whereas this psychopathic monster you believe exists just stands idly by & lets children be raped. I couldn’t stand idly by. I assume you’d just stand there like an idiot watching “gods will” happen before your eyes.

Would your Father not have hoped that one day all his most treasured belongings went to his Daughter? it’s just a thought because it’s the first thing that I had in mind, after saying that this place is second to none for the advice you seek.
    Phil.

    Or grandchildren…

If I could stop an adult from raping a child, I would. That’s the difference between me & your so called god…who appears to be at the very least, a thoroughly vindictive, cold hearted, psychopathic monster.

Good thing it’s all just superstitious nonsense… otherwise we might think the same of the cult members

RpR, are you one of the people who believe everything is gods will, that he sees all & knows all?

As to what it means, when I did look it up, what I found was quite a lot of confusion; it seems not even all Catholics, let alone all Christians, can agree on what it means.

Talking of which, I live in a town of about 200,000. We have one mosque, one sikh temple and SEVENTY different christian cults including all the main ones..

No you are not and I too found quite distasteful the treatment of RpR whose views I am totally at odds with.
The level of intolerance in this thread has been surprising.

Maybe because ideologies than are counter-productive to the continuing existence of humanity need to be called into question & ridiculed?

There now do you feel better
You repeat, to the point of being ludicrous, the same fatuous rhetoric but then if that is all you have, have at it.
    Have a nice day.

You could have just said “I’m too effing thick headed to answer any questions”… but we already knew that.

Take a stab at explaining why a supposedly omnipotent deity has failed to convince the vast majority of its creations of its own existence?

For most believers, when their religious beliefs are involved, facts, logic, and truth doesn’t matter; all that matters to them is their belief. Yet so many people wonder why so many atheists find “religious/faith-based thinking” utterly absurd and potentially harmful.

This person cannot even admit they made the simple and common mistake of following their confirmation bias, and not doing a simple Google search to see if they were correct. Instead, they ran with the belief because it “felt good,” while doubling down on their intellectual dishonesty.

This, my friends, is how delusions are created and reaffirmed…Believe because you want to believe, then reject all contrary evidence and reason as “mere opinion.”

Sorry religionists, you cannot discount evidence as “mere opinion,” while simultaneously trying to raise your faith-based delusional beliefs to the level of evidence; neither should you expect to be taken seriously or given any level of consideration in the process of your doing so.

Furthermore, it is unreasonable to become upset if/when people ridicule your patently absurd attempts to raise your faith-based beliefs to the level of evidence and logic.

Yes, it is called counterintuitive drivel on a good day and nonsense on all others.

It must have been a dark day when leading scientists, or at least ones who thought they were leading, decided that the true meaning of the word theory makes our semi-educated guesses look bad so let’s just change the meaning of the word; It is a lie but the masses are too stupid to notice.

You are WAY out of your depth in this thread.
