If they are Stirling we have 2 tail legs which are crying out for them:D:D

Hi Ian,
Will look this out and put some photos up for you. It won’t be for a few weeks though as the hangar is being refurbished and is out of bounds to all but the contractors at the moment.
regards
John
Martin beat me to it, we’ve got what looks to be an identical seat, but in green
John
Shall we have a sweep to see how quickly your PM box is filled up:D
Hi Cees
I have asked Guiseppe the question.
John
I agree,
Those buried Stirlings in Egypt would be a very worthwile project to find out. If nothing is found, then that’s the end of that rumour.
Currently looking into this Cees, but have had nothing concrete to confirm/deny the rumour as yet

There is a picture of one in a softback book called either Desert Boneyard or Grounded(?)
I’m not sure of its exact title, I can check tonight if I can find them, but I’m sure that someone out there will know
So you got it then Martin,
Well done matey, it was very expensive:eek::eek:
John
That is very nice!!!
Doesn’t Lancaster NX611 ‘Just Jane’ have a Rose rear turret fitted?
I think she has an FN82 fitted
I think you must mean a Rose Turret, one with twin .5″ guns
Hi Both,
Glad to see your Projectis coming along nicely Martin. In response to your comment Cees, I think that our projects are complimentary, I suppose because of the space issues, ours is likely to be a bit larger:eek: But hopefully between the 2 of us we’ll get sorted

Why was water filling up the cockpit when is is pressurised and watertight??
I can’t speak for the Vulcan, but it wouldn’t have cabin pressurisation selected at low level and certainly on a Jag the canopy (and door seals for the Vulcan) would no longer be pressurised with the engines shut down so therefore doors etc would no longer be watertight.
Still, wouldn’t surprise me given the current world economic issues if certain projects have been parked awaiting better times. On the other other hand, aren’t cinema takings up?
My brother works in special effects and if anything due to the relative strength of the US Dollar, there are more projects than ever being filmed outside the States.
John
I doubt if there’s much wood, but component wise……
Over to you DC:D
