“The Big Show” Pierre Clostermann, mentions combat with a high altitude specially modified Me109 recon aircraft.

It’s a very hazardous world for a cat. A friend of mine was unloading his lorry, unpacking shrink wrapped pallets only to find a cat had crawled in between the pallets as the were being wrapped.
Unfortunately the cat had suffocated. Water butts with flip top lids are another cat trap.
Having said that some cats are very wirely. Our slinky is old (not sure how old, was a stray) and seems to always come home.

Kitty was gone when I went to look. Most likely the owner or a passer by found her.
Hope I never have to do that for one of our cats.

The colour scheme on the Beaver looks deliberately weathered. Is there a reason for that?

To the OP. If you can bring yourself to do it, please take the body to a local vet – the cat is quite possibly chipped.

When I pop back that way in an hour I’ll see if it’s still there and take it to the vet.
    Let you know what happens.

Would to win the lottery actually be a good thing for people?
In a stroke it means you don’t have to work. It also means no real purpose in life. No need to do anything. No direction. No drive.
Not saying I wouldn’t like the option but wonder if it would be bad in some way.
A lot of millionaires go off the rails. Beverly Hills has a lot of depressed people.

The lottery sparks a strange psychology in people.
An idiot to use 123456? I don’t use those numbers for the same reason but that makes no sense.
What I’m saying is, I don’t want to win 100’000 with 123456 I want several million. Forgetting of course that to win is so unlikely 123456 would still be a nice win if I got it.
Think of it this way. If 123456 comes up this weekend everyone will be kicking them selves for not choosing it! A win is a win after all!
It’s the same with rollovers. People do a rollover because they don’t want to win a meager 3 million? Makes no sense. I would be happy with £1000.
A win is a win is a win!

The object of the thread was bringing this subject to a wider audience for the general benefit of the Forum. Thank you for your help in this mission.

I wouldn’t take it too personally. Some people have forgotten that to keep the forum alive is to post on it. If we google everything then we would never spark interesting debate.
Now, to widen the Concordski thread a little.

I read an article in a leading magazine some years ago that said the crash of Concordski could have been due to a shadowing Mirage Fighter that caused the TU to take avoiding action causing overstress. There was a cover up and the usual conspiracy theory. The shadowing fighter was in cloud and so never seen by the public.
Has anyone heard this before and can offer any credence to it?
It sounded unlikely to me but as it appeared in a leading magazine (can’t remember which one, was a few years ago now) but was so strange it could be true?

    £8. Just lucky I guess.
BTW you have the same odds with 123456 than any random combination of numbers.
Although your winnings will be less.
