If they can slip horsemeat into the food chain then they can slip diseased horse meat into the food chain. They can slip any meat they like, condemned, dog, cat, human into the food chain.
The real issue here is what chemicals and diseases we may have been exposed to. Don’t forget the `cow eat sheep` scandal with mad cow disease killing people.
When money is involved anything is possible. When money is involved in a foreign country with no standards it probably has already happened.

Currently work is ongoing to update and patch Cliffs of Dover. Team Fusion are working to make sure that there will be many corrections that were left undone during the final patch.

Current work is aiming at correcting the FM and making it at-least historically correct. Time will tell whether it can be done, but for those interested, here’s a little video teaser showing aircraft battling at correct altitudes 😉

New footage will be released in the following weeks along with the first patch.

    Cheers, MP

    Sounds exciting but I won’t hold my breath. They will pretty much need to rebuild the sim from the ground up to fix all the bugs;

    – radio chatter completely broke
    – engine sounds not representative of real aircraft
    – gun sounds ditto
    – AI not realistic
    – FPS too slow except over water and with minimal aircraft
    – Ground terrain not representative of real country
    – Flight models porked!
    – Not atmospheric
    – Not historically accurate
    – No campaign mode
    – Interface sucks

    …I could go on :dev2:

However I paid full price as a show of faith to the devs so will wait and see.

Having worked in Avionics repairs for many years, now retired ,i wonder if anyone in the know on here can tell me if the BBMF still use Marconi AD120 Radio,s in their aircraft ? and if so will NX 611 use the same radio fit ?
    Terry

If you watch the BBC documentary called “bomber boys” it looks like there is a SAT NAV type monitor in the navs position. So I think they must have modern avionics?

Looks like they will fly the Lancaster from a grass strip. Was the Lanc ever operated from grass?

Interesting that the similar shaped hanger to Duxfords has a door that can open! German engineering 🙂

Look at the passengers. The whiteness of their knuckles is probably a good indication he should NOT have attempted the landing!

Come on Moggy, there are some helicopters worthy of mention. Helicopters with charisma and history. Namely the Wessex and Huey. Wessex. The exploits in the Falklands surely gives it a place at Duxford. Huey for it’s exploits in Vietnam. Both underrated and charismatic little helicopters.

Aircraft fly by repelling gravity due to magnetism.
It’s simple. Aircraft are held down to the ground by magnetism. When the airspeed is sufficient that the lift generated by the wings is greater than this magnetic effect, often called `ground effect` the wheels become free, thus the aircraft is free to climb into the air. However as the aircraft goes higher then this effect is lestened. It is quite possible for aircraft to stall back to the ground where they remain stuck.
This also explains how aircraft can fly upside down. The wheels have the opposite effect when facing upwards.

My dad told me a story when he worked in Smithfield Market.
Someone parked overnight a mini that was blocking one of the loading bays.
No problem. All the big burly butchers did was lift the car up and place it between two concrete bollards.
Never did find out how the owners got it out!

I also witnessed many years later a BMW Z3 spin out of control in Croydon and wedge itself between two traffic lights. The owner and the Police seemed to see the funny side.

“Stranded passengers – numbering 6,000 – will have the return half of their tickets honoured by British Airways, Pan American Airways, Air Florida and British Caledonian. “

Am I correct in saying that only BA are still going?
