Do you get food and does it come with a starter? :diablo:

Maybe they will insert a time expired engine for these sessions?

Has anyone worked out the cost of ownership fo these wind turbines?
It’s like a conversation I had with the gasman regarding my boiler.

“That old boiler is inneficient you should consider a new one”
    “How much will that cost?”
    “about £3500”
“and what will my yearly saving be?
    “£300 to £350 per year”
“so it will take me 10 years to re-coup my spend? What’s the average life of these new boilers”
“err, 10 to 15 years on average”

So in other words I’m buying into something that will cost as much as my old one regardless of the energy saving.

“no thanks, I’ll keep the old one!”

Hi. Thanks for the replies re the tower. BTW I used the term `Pilot` as a generic one. Hadn’t rearly looked that closely at the figure. Always assumed it was a representative figure not of any one specific type / crew.

Why is showing concern for museums or exhibits wrong?
Is concern restricted to just living things then?
If the RAF Museum was suddenly destroyed by fire that would be fine would it? I think not!

I couldn’t see very well what that was at the back. Didn’t realise the P38 was so big, or maybe the Widow was so small.
I wonder if these Widows were destined for the Ardennes Offensive as night fighters?

If you gathered up all the surviving Stirling parts would there be a realistic chance to build one? I know there is a cockpit build, some turret builds and a few other bits and bobs being made but would I get the chance to see one in my lifetime?

Where is the control tower? I tried to find it last year. Found the pilot statue and memorial but couldn’t see the tower?

It’s seems an age ago now but I can remember these flying in 89.
What’s the story of it being in America, was it a trade?
