I was wondering if you restored a Stuka to 100% airworthiness would you be allowed to vertically dive it? I know you probably wouldn’t want to, but could you with current laws, restrictions?
Isn’t the whole point in stealth that it gives you an advantage over the bad guy without? Not that it makes the plane invisible, but that, in the fog of war, in combat, that stealth aircraft is just that little bit harder to destroy. That could mean the difference between success and failure.
I tend to think there were more Ansons because it looks right. That same tubular, fabric Battle of Britainy look about it (and a turret) which doesn’t look out of place next to a Hurricane on a BoB airfield. Looks warlike to in it’s camo. The Oxford looked a bit too transporty to me.
Perhaps it’s also something to do with Airfix.
As above I use a razor saw. Be very gentle and take your time. A craft knife will just break, split the resin.
Also wear a face mask. Resin is bad news if inhaled.
Peering off an escalator, looking down and seeing some birds knockers.
Sorry, but it did make me smile!

Definately a Meteor. I think Doug Arnold had Meteor NF.11 / TT.20 WM167, which is now of course G-LOSM. Could be that one!?
Rob
So it is a Meteor. Didn’t know Doug Arnold had one. Can’t say I ever saw it display during the 80’s, 90’s but then it was a rare treat to see any WOGB aircraft at a display. I saw his P38 Miss Behaving in pieces at Evergreen Aviation probably 1998.
This was “The First of the Many” – Doug Arnold’s first Spitfire at Blackbushe … one of my shots featuring in the forthcoming Vol II 🙂
Whats the blue tailed aircraft in the background? Looks like a Meteor but too big.
I remember the camo Ju52. Used to play the baddie at North Weald.
What happened to all these aircraft, are they still around?
Sadly there are no longer warbirds based at Blackbush. Hopefully one day they will return?
I was travelling on an airline that rhymes with BryanAir, when I discovered lots of what turned out to be pubic hair on one of the seats at the back of the a/c. I don’t know how it got there.

Maybe they ordered the Brazillian.
Tornado Role Demo was over Camberley at 18.30 🙂
That would be it then!
Antonov An2 and a Typhoon (possibly two) over Camberley about 18:00hrs.
Also a nice four car pileup on the A30.
Gloster Meteor probably heading Farnborough spotted over Blackwater 17:25 today. Was going quite slow.
In 2007 a P51 D Mustang called Lou IV was damaged in a landing accident a Camarilla, California. Become a fan to help us restore this majestic fighter!
Flying the P-51 D has been a lifelong dream for Terry Dieno, President of Fast Toys For Boys. Terry’s love for aviation heated up when he acquired his pilot’s license in 1973. This was the beginning of a lengthy career in commercial crop spraying, pipeline patrol, and aerobatics became a passion in the Yak and Pitts Special. LOU IV is one of the most photographed fighters of WWII because Major Thomas offered to fly for the picture taking press from a base in Italy.
The rebuilding of Lou IV is a task of huge magnitude and progressing slowly. The wings are now totally rebuilt, the new fuselage is a work in progress, and the tail cone and many smaller components are nearing completion.
You can easy follow the rebuild on Facebook @ http://www.facebook.com/restorelouiv or check out our website http://www.restorelouiv.com
Happy flying from the Restore LOU IV Team!
That’s probably the nicest colour scheme for a P51. Glad someone is fixing her. We had something similar with Miss Helen. Wonder whos fixing that one?
