Wasn’t there a German Pilot mentioned in the book Target Berlin who was shot down, straffed in his second aircraft and then shot down in a third on the same day?

Didn’t the Pilots of the Battle of Britain fight for our freedom? Freedom of expression, freedom of speech?
I don’t see any harm with using the picture.
They did after all give their tomorrow so we can enjoy our today which is what I think the picture represents.
Perhaps we shouldn’t get so offended by something so trivial.

Hannover Street staring Harrison Ford and some bird who’s name escapes me.
Despite all the neigh sayers I quite liked it.
    Plenty of B25 action.

I think that answers that 🙂
What metal is the exhaust made from? This process is similar to the bluing you get on a carbon steel wok.

That’s a pretty colour scheme. I wish a few could be painted in civilian colours to emphasize it’s speed.

If the V1 suffered an engine problem, loss of power, wouldn’t it just crash land as if landing in a shallow descent?

I read somewhere that Airforce 1 has an aerial in the back that it can pay-out a bit like fishing line.
It’s 3 miles long and can transmit on ultra low frequencies, encrypted and in very small bursts.
So an hour of comms can be burst transmitted in a few seconds.
Not sure if that’s true though?

One also carries what appears to be a Lewis Gun.

    Warning. Geek alert!
Han Solo’s pistol is a Mauser.
Princess Leia’s pistol is a Luger.
The scene where Stormtroopers try to blast the Falcon in the Spaceport at Moss Eisley,
if you look closely you can see a road work towed compressor.
Leia hides from Troopers behind a set made of grey plumbers tubing.
The large spaceship during the opening scene of ANH. If you look at it’s rear you can see the doors from a model kit APC.
R2D2’s eye is actually the directional air vent from a 70’s airliner.
    The list is endless…

BTW wasn’t there a helicopter or aircraft in the cargo bay of the Nostromo in Alien?

Interesting placement of the code letters next to the roundel.
    Spacing is a bit off.
