When a crew is found are their names removed from Runnymead and is there a figure (number of aircraft) for how many more crews are still missing ?
Why 10 dollars. Is that some king of legal requirement. May as well have given it away (which in effect they did).
I’ve been to Shoreham a few times and there seems to be a big gap in the middle of what’s being sold.
On the one hand you have to £1500 Rolls Royce Spitfire rocker cover and on the other rubber O rings. Not much else.
Perhaps if the market was broadened a little so people (like me) with just a passing ineterest might be seduced into picking up something that
wasn’t too expensive but was aviation related.
There’s also the model, tool, memorabilia areas.
A couple of pictures found on this site https://www.thevintagenews.com/2015/09/15/65-of-the-coolest-perfectly-timed-military-photos-youll-ever-see/?src=fba&type=wca&page=tvn
He said: “I was working away and I heard a big crash behind me. I turned around and there was a big propeller about 10ft behind me”
“It was a matter of milliseconds – but straight away managed to get it on ebay!”
What is sad is not the passing of the Vulcan. But that there seems nothing of similar effort to replace it.
Will we ever see a large British aircraft in RAF service?
Best to do a virus scan.
Angler Exploit attempts to take over your PC by exploiting security holes (if you have any).
It could be as benign as redirecting you to an advert or something more sinister. Most of the time they are just annoyances.

Reading the accounts -it seems hangarage costs are 124K . The visitor numbers mentioned seem to generate income of 120K . Whether the visitor numbers will remain the same when she becomes a ‘vanilla’ Vulcan I don’t know ! I suspect visitors might well want to experience more than one aircraft in a hangar for their hard earned cash !
As for staffing it -whatever way you look at it -it surely cannot sustain full time staff on a paid basis.
Problem with a static aircraft is you don’t have to rush to see it. So visitor numbers may decrease.
