I know, it’s a cheap gag. To be honest all the good Tarrants, I mean tyrants have been done already.

It’s not truly Lego until you’ve used at least one blue roof tile and that small clear square with the wheels.

Fair comment. Original post altered in case it should cause offense.

    From the Dambusters blog.
“I’ve had so many people the last five years come and ask, ‘When are you going to make The Dam Busters? When are you going to make The Dam Busters?’ Honestly, you ask me what I got out of five years of making The Hobbit? It was me feeling like I have to make The Dam Busters, because of the endless people asking, ‘When are you going to make The Dam Busters?…
[W]e still have the rights, and it’s one in a little pot of movies. We don’t have a next movie nailed down, but certainly The Dam Busters is one of them. There is only a limited span I can abide, of people driving me nuts asking me when I’m going to do that project. So I’ll have to do it. I want to, actually, it’s one of the truly great true stories of the Second World War, a wonderful, wonderful story. “
So I read this as `it will happen but not for a few years yet`
I guess we have to remember that Peter Jackson sees the Dambusters as another film he would like to make rather than a desire to make a film about the Dambusters.
Our focus is Historic Aviation, his is Film Making.

What happens if the Phantom is not bought by Bruntingthorpe.
Do the funds raised thus far go to the upkeep of the museum?

Does anyone know if the Lancasters will fly over Blackbush at any time during their display schedule?

Also can someone please confirm both Lancasters will be at Shoreham on the Sunday?
The BBMF schedule only shows the Saturday, but the Shoreham website shows the Sunday?

    Thank you.

    Nice movie thanks for sharing.
Is there any chance we will see an airworthy Gannet in the UK at some point?

What’s the Propliner? Looks a bit like a Martin 404?

Why did some Lancasters carry more than 7 crew?
In Jack Curries book on Maillie De Camp (excuse the spelling) it shows some losses as having 10 or 11 crew?
Were these special, Pathfinder or special Ops Lancs of some sort?

It certainly opened the eyes of any passing children in Tesco. Let me point that out again: children. And it won’t stop anything in Syria.
But it might upset all those supermarkets and newsagents who found themselves forced to display kiddie war-porn just to satisfy some editors bloodlust.

Ok, so you feel real proud of yourself, but let the adults talk now.

For those who must see that front page… http://resources0.news.com.au/images/2014/08/12/1227022/416376-ff242184-221f-11e4-a212-44a8a3dd312b.jpg

Yes, it’s such a well balanced and adult paper, on the same page…
“Exclusive. Women with UK’s biggest trout pout!”
    … I rest my case.

I don’t know what to do with the EU debate.
If you ask me, as an Englishman, if I want to come out of the EU I hesitate.
I hesitate because although coming out of the EU seems like a good idea (bendy bananas and all that?),
I have to look at my own working experience over the past 15 years.
1994 – 2003 – Employed by Cap Gemini UK (French Company)
    2004 – 2009 – Employed by O2 UK (Spanish Company)
So while it may seem like we owe nothing to the EU a lot of our jobs depend on it.
So, reluctantly I’m in. But I hate it! Just don’t know why?

Isn’t this a pretty easy thing to resolve?
Seal the plane and pump it full of gas. Dread to think though what damage the rodents may have done to wiring.
Those little ******s will eat anything, except possibly airline food?
