In some way I hope religion is right and I’m wrong otherwise it’s going to be a very short trip!

If it was the same year (as I remember) the Hellcat was flown by Hoof Proudfoot. I have some pictures of him sitting in the cockpit.
It was a very sunny day and he did a very nice display IIRC.

I wonder how they will approach the subject?
Watching `the enemy` killing allied troops is going to be interesting problem to deal with.

Sad the Government could not look beyond his sexuality and see the brilliance.
I wonder what he may have achieved had he been given the opportunity?

It’s a pity a bit of low flying cannot be incorporated into displays.
I can’t remember of any accident at a display that was attributed to low flying.

Aren’t these compasses (typically American ones) nick named the Whiskey Compass?
If on a flight and the compass leaks you can refill it from your hip flask.

I used to take a lot in the days of film. 20 rolls a year. Now with digital I’ve lost interest except for the occasional snap.
    Maybe a hundred.
As I’m getting older I would rather experience than constantly record for the sake of it.

“In todays Cornish News, Immigration Officers arrested several illegal immigrants,in Penzance. “
I think it’s terrible how they treat Cornish folk these days. It used to be a half a cider and a knob of cheese to keep them in check.
