What’s the matter, don’t you have a Sat-Nav?
Turn left at the Herc, right at Brize Norton and you’re halfway there already.

At this range even the yanks can’t miss
I’m sorry I still can’t hear what you’re saying
Thanks
Thanks Wiesso. Anymore out there?
Sadly not
Regrettably it won’t as I am looking for photographs of the Passenger accomodation.
Defunct airlines
I’d personally like to see
BOAC with the comets and VC10s resurrected
Dan-Air for the same reason, but they didn’t use VC10s
Imperial Airways, for the DH Albatrosses, H.P. 42s, Armstrong Whitworth Ensigns, and the glorious Short Flying boats.
That’s all.
Thanks
Well spotted, G-AISD ex OO-RLD, presumably not been in the U.K. too long?
Thanks, at least I beat someone else to it!!!
Whoops 2
Correction. That should be Saunders-Roe P.192, not 70. My apologies.
Whoops
Sorry that should be 5 decks, not 56. My hand slipped. Sorry.
funny smell
This just reeks of the Saunders-Roe P. 70, the never built 56 deck, 24 jet engined, 1000 passenger flying boat meant to fly between England and Australia. But I hope they build it none the less.
Heard a really wild rumour that “G-AEXX” the Kings Airspeed Envoy, which although http://www.tqfa-kittyhawk.org.uk/aircraft/1.htm has listed as scrapped, was actually carefully dismantled and stored.
“Anyone want to buy a chocolate teapot”???????
Meant to add cessnas, pipers, modern jet airliners (why we can’t add some VC10s back to the sky eludes me) etc. No I am not anti American, as I see the Lockheed Constellation, and the DC series of piston airliners as some of the nicest ever made, and wish that some were still in service on mainline routes today.
The Grumman Hellcat for me, so oddly proportioned.
what about the percival prince
is the percival prince still at caernarvon or has it been scrapped. i heard a wild rumour it had been scrapped. sorry, shift key and caps key are both out of action. is it still there or isn’t it.
Get Her Flying Again
Although I prefer fabric and wood aeroplanes to metal ones, I would love to see XH558 flying again, especially to give the PC crowd a good kick up the A**e. It was made in the era when Britain was still Great, not like today’s nanny state where you can’t breathe without a Health & Safety certificate.
GET HER FLYING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Princess Footage
That footage has reduced me to tears. What a beautiful aeroplane. They (or at least one) should have been given to a museum. What a B****Y waste. I would love to see a full size flying replica, but no doubt would be too expensive to build. Ah well…
