    Bill Horlor

    Hi

Would like to make contact with Jackonicko and the village postmaster relative of Bill Horlor. I am the great nephew of the air bomber in the crew shot down and killed in December 44. My great uncle, Peter Noble, was on his 24th trip, and their skipper George Devereau was on his 27th. The crew feature in Bomber Command: Failed to Return II and I have lots of other photos/info etc on my website that might be of interest. (seanfeast.com)

    Master Bombers/Pathfinders

Thanks to all who came yesterday. It was great to meet you all and the old boys were overwhelmed with the interest and respect shown. Happy to help in any way with any q’s. Just drop me a line/message – or whatever it is you do on these things! Sean

    Pathfinders – 582 Squadron

Keith – a new book called Master Bombers has just been published and focuses solely on 582 squadron. You might find what you need there – if not – get in touch with me and i may be able to help. Sean

Hi Stan, I note your interest in 582, a few months ago I agreed to help trace a lost relative of a friend, from 582 ? It seems information is scarse, but with help from this and other forum I was lucky enough to get a scanned photo of the actual aircraft involved ! So its out there ! Just the knowing where to look seems the hardest part.
I found the roll of honour website at Bedfordshire very indepth, hopefully a link below. Keith.
