Finnish director Åke Lindman has just filmed his new war movie “Tali-Ihantala 1944”. According to the Finnish news he filmed the
D-FWWC at Manching , Germany just a few weeks ago. The Fw-190 (Flugwerks D-FWWC) was painted to represent a plane which Erich Rudorffer flew when he was at Immola, Finland in 1944……… hmmmm? could it be?

Quite frankly the best way to a Spitfire flight is to do exactly what the owners have done – work hard, earn high and buy your own. Not easy, but not impossible.

Does anyone know how often Google earth is updated?? tried looking at it last week but nothing at Dunsfold that i could see….pity is Top Gear is finished now untill the autumn which means no more views of glorious prop liners!!!

The tanks and engines are mock ups……there are two engines per housing!
