Ah thats bad if the service has been downgraded. Haven’t used them for a few months, used BA out of LGW to AMS recently and that was OK I suppose, but I always used to try and arrange my meetings/visits so I could go out on the 767 out of T4 in the morning, and would rate the service very above average, but if its been downgraded maybe I’ll stick with BA.
Exactly what I thought when I saw it there Mark L! Unless the Titan was not being used for BA flights, but I doubt it as it was @ North terminal.

Well if they are back only one of them was on Monday, and I saw none today

I expect if MYT introduced full bar service followed by a three course meal on all flights they would see an instant return to profitability!!!
You could book a Ryanair flight, and write the confirmation number down on a piece of paper if you liked
I just booked (and travelled) a one way from LGW to AMS (came back on the ferry) for £45, so they must operate a different policy on short haul as this was roughly half the return fare

Mmitch- i tackled flybe. management on this very issue – free tea and coffee – as initially they did offer it. Their response was that passengers preferred to have to pay for everything as this reduced the complexity and saved embarrassment of having a free cuppa and then requesting other items and having to pay. Their words not mine.
I acknowledge I miss-interpreted you T5. Sorry for that.
I presume by your post T5 that because you are studying for a degree you are superior to someone who has worked all their life and that the job you will get will also be better than that of an ‘air steward’? Just asking.
Message for danairboy;
Since Jim French turned Jersey European into flybe he has turned a consistently loss-making airline into a profitable one, done away with meals and tea and coffee, competed sucessfully with Ryanair and kept over 1500 people in gainful employment.
