    Well, I would say that Heathrow is fine. I also used to work in Air traffic and I know the excellent standard of ATC in this country.

    I would say the toughest airfields are the Channel Islands with the strong winds. But, I would say the worst for near misses is White Waltham. I have nearly come a croppppper in there many a time with the amount of aircraft and lack of ATC and aircraft without a radio. It’s madness on a nice Sunday afternoon.

    It’s a GA-7 cougar.
    I have a few hours in one of these machines. Not many of them around.

    I also nearly ended up flying this “eye in the sky” a few years ago.

    747-400 that has always been my dream, and then my dream came true.
    I am operating my first flight in to Paris from Hong kong this week. Can’t wait.

    I think you got the wrong end of the stick my friend.

    It’s an oscillatory movement due to lateral instability.

    This plane is currently parked up at Hong Kong at the moment.
    Just for some useless info, some crew have been air sick on the new A340-600 due to a circular movement of the aircraft because of the long body. Just thought you might like to know!!!!

    The bug is stopping people flying, no people to fly then grounding the airline is probably a good thing. Not much point flying empty.

    Thanks chaps,

    Well, after a long hard think I have gone for the 747-400.
    I am currently sorting out my start date which looks like it will be in a month or so, and starting to pack up our stuff for the trip back to England before the long trip to Hong Kong.

    I would also like to thank WYSIWYG again for all his help and I just hope he gets to fly a big airplane one day. HeHeHeHe!!!!!!!

    I have just got back from Honkers and what a place!!!!!!!!
    I would like to thank everyone for their kind words of support, I just hope I get selected. Its a tough selection process as Monster and WYSIWYG will know only to well. But, I have done my part and its out of my hands know.

    By heck, she is a real beast though!!!!!!!
