    Max Speed M1.6
    3h to install or desinstall.
much more aerodynamic and lower RCS than normal fuel tanks.

EDIT: IIRC, the devellopement has been stopped since the end of the SK competition and I don’t know if Singapore is interested in using them.

    A single-engine fighter usually outranges a twin-engine.

    F-16 outranges F-15 and F-18,

    F-16 outranges F-15 ?
    And what about Mig-29 and Su-27 ?

    About the range, isn’t a plane like the rafale closer to a F-15 than a F-18 ?

    😮
Logic: If as much as a rubber bullet is fired in the direction of
Shanghai, Gaugzhou, HK China, or any one of the many Chinese biggies from
the Island; I suggest for you people to refer back to Bagdad ’91, Kabul 2001, and again
Bagdad 2002 for a more realistic and first hand sneak preview of what’s to come
for the Island therehence — blood brother or no blood brother.

It’s always funny to see how the China vs Taiwan wr would happen.
china would send hundred of ballistic missiles but would cry to the UN if Taiwan use a single bomb 🙂

A few years ago I encountered a story said to have originated from a HK newspaper. The incident related that PLAAF Su-27s locked on to ROCAF Mirage 2000-5s. Despite the EW on the Mirages—they’re quite well known for that—the Mirages were unable to shake the lock and had to resort to going spiral, a maneuver similar to a beam maneuver in effect to throw off the pulse doppler.

Strange, I have always heard the exact opposite.

It would be cool to see the LCA with the TVC EJ-200. If not the EJ why not the new M-88-3? I don’t think India has any problems buying from Europe.

You can bet that RR and SNECMA representatives are already making proposition to HAL.

Let the Kaveri take its time. It can be added once it is mastered.

As Distiller siad, it’s nearly a technological demonstrator.
If India want to become a real superpower, they need to gain this kind of skills.
It’s obvious they could match mature mirage or F-16 then.

    Ken

    The An-70 is more an a-400M than a C-17

Pakistan and USA must stay “friendly” as long as the “war on terror” isn’t finished.

So that means lots of politics involved and that’s why most topic about Pakistan AF are so useless.
