As you know, ANSAT is built in Kazan, the capitol of Tatarstan Republic.

Tatarstan is probably the most powerful “minority” republic, that is populated by the Tatars, a Turkic people who are the descendants of the Golden Horde who were frequently at war with the Russians. Their current situation is like the Quebecois in Canada… unlikely to secede from the host country, but holds firm a strong separate Identity.

Famous Tatars include Marat Safin ( a Tennis player), and Alsou (a pop singer).

Anyways, Ansat means “light” in the local language.

I had never heard that Marat Safin is a Tatars. You made me so suprised.

I have been following this helicopter for a couple of years now and am really quite impressed with the design. It seems to be one of the most practical and advanced helicopters coming out of Russia right now. It could be a real good way to break into some Western markets if they start advertising well.

    Hi! Logan,
It seems that you think the ANSAT 2RH highly.I want to hear your opinion:Compared To AH-1W,what do you think the ANSAT-2RH be?Or I would say can you find some detail about Electronic equipment on it,and the engine,Where can I find the engine’s info?

    See my post above.

    The Ansat is a 10-seat passenger/cargo/SAR helicopter.

The Ansat ARH is an Armed Reconaissance Helicopter version, based on the above, but with a new, tandem seat, attack-helicopter style fuselage.

    See :- http://www.kazanhelicopters.com/index.php?id=504

    Ken

    I saw.THE ARH.Thanx!

A demonstration of the Project Cyclops RPV – UAV system. The system works by transmitting live video from the aircraft using wireless video, which is recieved down to a fully functional cockpit console to view and control the aircraft, true RPV – UAV flying at it’s very best!

This video was taken over ten years ago and was filmed at a real airport for a RC public demo.

I perfectly understood what he was saying, it is more or less what I was saying…..
The whole thing was just a bit funny to me…that is all……I’m just in a smart a$$ mode ATM:)
If you really want to know why it is funny to me, PM me…..I’ll explain
    LM

I found it funny to me too.So I choice to post this, not to apply some kind men’s sponsor.:D

I don’t have a degree in engineering, but I certainly never been short of $2300-2500 to pay for my remote controlled toys for the big boys

Big boy?Yes I am the very one.
    Remote controlled toys?
    I think,
    it is another way of calling my UAV.:D 😀 😀 😀 😀

Hmmmmm, wrong answer or question, methinks:D

If he had what are you asking, do you think he’ll be short of $2300-2500???!

I don’t have a degree in engineering, but I certainly never been short of $2300-2500 to pay for my remote controlled toys for the big boys:D

    cheers

Actually, you two guys sounds well,I’m a student in University.I’ m studying softwere engineering.
Maybe you think $2000 is a small number for a person who have a degree in engineering plus several years of experience.
But I will tell you,in China, that is a large number for any person. In China, even for Such a engineer that has been educated well in university.
We earn less, and things cost less too.:)
BUT the price of some equipment is made by West people,at their price level.

And I found the KEY is I’m a amateur, not working in Aviation Industry.:D .So I found it maybe hard to get money for my project.:D
