However, I cannot bring myself to contemplate flying Ryanair
You serious?! LOL. 😉

Sorry, I meant the DUB-STN flights.
I thought you did, just realised. 😮 😉

Wont be a B777 for much longer though, goin down to a B764 for next summer isnt it.
From a passengers point of view, I’d rather have the B767 configured in CO’s style over the B772. They all have PTVs and the B767 has the better seat config.

EDI is another, 99% certain to be a B732.

cleaning a plane takes a few hours.
You have to cover the probes and pitots, static ports and protect vunerable static wicks.
This can take about about an hour. Then you have the cleaning of the aircraft itself. It takes me around 30 mins to wash my car… imagine how long it takes for a plane. All this means the plane is on the ground, loosing money for several hours… when it could otherwise be turned around and sent on its way, to earn money again 🙂
Hopes this helps folks
BA generally take good care of their aircraft.
I don’t expect it to be spotless every day of the year, but to let it drop to the state that it appears to be in now shouldn’t happen.
Like Mark L said, they have a few hours each day to do something about it.

I’d of thought the B777 is one of the quietest widebodies around. It seems like it, from an observers point of view.

I am flying CO from DUB to SFO this Sunday. I have never flown CO on and trans atlantic or trans continential flights. What is the service like? I know the aircaft are to be a 767-200 and a 757-200.
I alos was told that there are individual ptv’s is this correct?
They were voted airline of the year a few weeks ago, so they can’t be too bad. 😉 No ptvs on B752, but are on B762.
