Bright, sunny and snow free in Glasgow.

Same in Edinburgh, the contrails are really hanging around in the sky today too. 😉

When they take BNWH down to LHR then they usualy take up another BA 767, either as a shuttle or a positioning flight. The reasons BNWH does the route predominantly is something to do with its configuration, specifically related to ZFW I believe?

They should do that! For 1 day! Just to get BNWH up to the BA ‘standard’ that most people expect. Right now, it looks a right state.

That would be good ,but this is the MAN-JFK Flight

If they can put the occasional B772 on LGW-EDI/GLA they can put BNWH on MAN-LHR?

because the others are just as busy… and positioning flights cost ££

Wouldn’t necessarily have to be a positioning flight, shove it on the first and last shuttle flights of the day. MAN-LHR-MAN. Quick wash inbetween. 😉

Why don’t they just rotate it with another B763?

Deadly serious. I do not particularly like the low fare airlines as I believe that they can often be rip-off / con-merchants, especially for people such as me who often have to travel at short notice – in many cases, I believe that the full service airlines present better value (last year I went to Hamburg on BA for £103 in taxes rather than pay Ryanair £0.99 each way to go to Lubeck – by the time I’d have paid all the extras involved with Ryanair at both ends and taken into account the wasted time, BA was far better value and actually cheaper!). I have and will again travel Easy and even Baby if really necessary (and Go in the past, sadly now no more). But I have no time whatsoever for Ryanair and its loud-mouthed CEO (even less since I’ve read the recently published book about Ryanair) and do not wish to contribute to their revenue stream in any way whatever my travel needs.

I can see what you’re saying. I feel very similiar, just not quite as strongly. 😉
As you may or may not know, I flew with them last month after vowing never to, however the flights were 1p each way + tax, so I felt reasonable comfortable, that at a grand total of less than £20 return I wan’t really contributing to MOL’s “revenue stream” much. 😉
In this case, however, they would be taking you from where you want to leave to where you want to go, instead of dumping you at their more typical middle-of-nowhere-port. 😉
