I noticed they only used 2 engines. That 2CV made me laugh! 😀
As is a B773 of Singapore, can’t say I like it!

EDIT- I can see the pic by the way
Excellent pics, 10 widebodies in that last pic alone! Looking forward to getting back to MAN soon. 🙂
Excellent report, and I look forward to the pics 🙂
A few more charters wouldn’t go amiss at EDI indeed.
Although, equally so, I’d like to see more year-round services to Europe and beyond by scheduled carriers.
I’ll pass on the Swiss! I had a few swift ones at lunchtime! :-)) 😮
Swissair was so much better to avoid comments like that! 😉 😀
Nice pics, thanks for posting them.
Big shame about the weather though.
It’s a charter flight from Zurich, as is the Swiss flight.
It’s a shame because I thought that was a Duo route replaced, but no.
None flying 🙁 Although there is an AF example at Toulouse which is said to be in an entirely air-worthy state, except for the fact it’s certificate has been pulled, as has been said. 🙁
July has been rotten, June was better at times, we’ve not had a ‘hot’ day in July yet! 😉
Great pics, you caught Germania, Swiss is due in about an hour! 😀
Bang goes the ‘push-back’ space! Time BAA got going
on the proposed terminal 2 over at the 12/30 side. 😮
The obvious thing to do in the short term is to extend the terminal Eastwards, where all those buses are parked upto where the other apron begins.
You see, I presume it has been, or will be gettign built over:
The new fence is smaller gauge wire, not strong enough to resist a determined ‘attack’ the other one was stronger.
I wonder if BAA plan to reinstate the spectator terrace
in the terminal? Its still there I believe?
With the current building work in the terminal it is getting built over?
When the work is finished all the domestic gates will have been extended out so if it does still exist the view will be completely obscured by the terminal extension.
More excellent pics I like how you can see the passengers 🙂 , BAA probably see the new fence as necessary! Even though the old one was fine I’d say.
You and me both… Time for Air France to ‘press’ their
new A318s into EDI.?
That would be nice to see.
