Great photos, I remember seeing Air Jamaica at LHR a few months ago.
Can really brighten up a dull day! 🙂
That is way cool! I was just thinking as they accelerated down the dirt strip – “Man, that must be worse than driving down that dirt track at Ingilston” EDI People will know what I am on about, I hope 😛
Yes I do! 🙂 Done it as passenger in a Lotus Elise once too! 😮
It’s the gradient and slope of the dirt strip that got me! It looks huge!
What a shock! Wouldn’t have said this at the beginning!
It’s no fluke either! Think of all the teams they have beaten on the way!
France, Portugal(twice!)
Well done to Greece! 🙂
Wow! 😮 That’s mad! Excellent video!
Killed kenny? LOL
Yeah, lol! 😀 That’s how I now refer to the Kilkenny logojet as! 😉
Just back from the EDI area, wasn’t actually at the airport, but near-by.
Saw the Oh my God the Killed kenny FR logojet, very noisy and very polluting! 🙂
LH 737, KLM F100 which I think has gone tech, it was parked up going nowhere soon which was very unusual, KLM have huge delays at EDI today too.
09.35 flight still hasnt gone, 05.55 flight was 6 hours delayed.
and Air Scotland 752 amongst all the common EZY 737s and A319s, BA etc.
And RIPConcorde wins the goldfish!!! It was N78008 of Continental.
Excellent! Just what I’ve always wanted. When can I claim my prize? 😉
Argh, do you actually learned at school how to make proper sentences?
Rule no.1 when it comes to critising other peoples grammer is not to allow other people to find fault in your own! 😉
Great report too. 🙂
The 777 looks amazingly good in the EI livery! 🙂
I’d say it was CO?
Lovely weather, seriously though, is MAN the wettest place in Britain?
Excellent pics anyhow! 🙂
You know that pessimism knocks years aff of your life expectancy!? 😉
Of course I can!
At the end of the day, it’s just a machine for transporting people and their luggage from Point A to Point B.
Nothing more, nothing less…………….
You go and tell that to the people who built and the pilots who flew in it! 😮
C’mon, chaps.
It’s a retired aeroplane. The world is full of them. Some in better nick than that, some in worse.
You can’t compare any retired aeroplane to Concorde.
I don’t think any other plane will ever have a last day of service quite like Concorde did! Plus, it was somewhat more ‘special’ than any other aeroplane.
Think successfully transporting millions of passengers across the atlantic in 3 hours for 3 decades or so.
What point?
If you’ve got piccies to share with the rest of us, then share them!
I don’t understand your issue with the response – what is that you’re expecting, exactly?
They’re good pictures – what more do you need?
I can see what he means. If he’s taking the time to post these pics then I’m sure it’d be nice to get some feedback from the various members who are regular posters on this forum.
Never mind the state it is in, I want to know what the heck is it doing in a museum dominated my retired MILITARY technology?
she should never have gone there in the first place.
and more so, retired military stuff belonging to the navy, hence the reason why they are plonked on an aircraft carrier!
