I was playing out in my backgarden today when I looked up to see if I could see any planes, I looked to my side and saw a large plane which was still pretty high, [too high to be going into MAN] now, I’ve seen it pass before but never close enough to figure it out, I quickly got my telescope and looked and what was it…yes the super duper guppy!! My mum said that her boyfreind that used to work at queensferry said he saw the guppy land then, can anyone confirm that it was going to queensferry tonight? It was definaltly landing in the uk as it was going down and pretty low for a plane NOT landing at manchester,
thanks,
MANAIRPORTMAD!! 😎
You mean the Beluga? and where/what’s Queensferry?
I use that site but one thing to note; it doesn’t include any Ryanair flights.
True, for that you need this website:
Now that’s what I call a glaciated landscape!
Oh I hate Geography *shudder*
An excellent pic indeed! 🙂
This one is excellent and is for Locos:
I’m not entirely happy with it.
They still haven’t done a feature on EDI!
Talk of the devil, it seems he is lurking in the trip report forum right now. 🙂
Shame it has to be done, as I can see the Commercial Av forum slowing down somewhat now. But if it stops the moaners…..
now that sounds silly.
That’s another a.net ‘rumour’. Last time I checked nobody had given any credibal evidence or source to suggest it was true.
It looks quite like G-OZBE to me too.
Oh rumours float, I saw on a.net that the Glasgow Emirates loads are apparently not very good at all, yet what I have read on here contradicts that, so I don’t know what to believe.
The officials CAA figures for April showed about 50% loads, althuogh that was the first month.
The flights certainly aren’t full for the summer as has been suggested, it is still very much possible to book multiple seats most if not all flights.
***WARNING*** Bad Scottish accent joke coming up
If that’s where you ‘getafe’ – where do you ‘get on’? 😀 😮
YOU WERE WARNED!!!! 😀
Pure shockin’!
It sound like MAN are putting on a really great experience, especially be letting everyone sit in the seats. Well done to them, and your brother for getting what is probably the best job in Manchester! 😉 I’d sure love it.
I’m sure the idiotic little kidds will have done themselves more harm, those aircraft tyres are as solid as a brick wall! 🙂
Thnaks for all the replies!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Well there is more than one viewing area at BHX, there is the one inside Terminal 1 the ‘Aviation Experiance’ which i’m sure RIP Concorde will give you the thumbs up to but there is also the outside one which gives u the shot’s like the one’s i got today, personally i like it better.
Yes, big thumbs up from me! An excellent place, the weather wasn’t too great at the time anyway for venturing outside. I did the quiz thing(anybody know what I talking about?), apparently-going by the amount of answers I got correct- I am good enough to be a 757 pilot. YES!! 😀 Shame it didn’t teach you how to fly. 😉
I remember that construction work, I got a good view of it. It looked like they were either resurfacing or extending the apron there for remote parking.
2. Only Civil aircraft are allowed to be entered into this year comp. No military!
