Sorry if i’m saying anything I shouldn’t be here! (Have heard about this from a couple of forum members, not sure if it’s going into the public domain!)

I’m looking to get booked up for LHR on the 18th August in the next couple of days, flying down on BA from MAN arriving 11:00, and departing back up to LBA with bmi at 20:45.

Is this an official meet or not?

I’ll probably end up at AMS on the 30th also, Jet2 from LBA for £59 should be do able for me :).

I’m not ready to confirm MAN yet but it’s looking promising that I should be soonish.

Just to throw another one into the mix, I should be booking AMS for the 30th August in the next day or two if anyone is interested, flying from MAN…!

Daily EDI-ALC and AGP go on sale tomorrow. Looks like a W pattern with GLA aircraft.

Looking at the timings for LPL-TFS it looks like it is a ‘W’ pattern, so could we see more routes from LPL?

I think you are getting confused, it’s not a W pattern, the timings look like a based aircraft. I’d say it’s very likely another route will be announced as TFS doesn’t leave till midday. Possibly EDI/GLA maybe even STN.

hiya i was on the AGP today an as i was at the front closing up i noticed a Globespan 737 land and park up about 3 gates away, i was just wondering anyone know what the 737 was in Manchester?

What time was it? Could’ve been G-CELR or TF-ELM doing EDI-MAN.

I’m lucky enough to be going on 10th august, booked it ages ago, cant wait !! 😀

Boulders have been moved now, Ingliston is once again accessible 🙂

Good good, might try and head out there tomorrow if the weather is as forecast!

Should be 06 in use too!

We’ll see how this works out….

In the mean time, here’s my fav shot, taken at last years MAN meet. Can’t quite mix with the big boys and their DSLRs yet. 😉

Both dates would be absolutely fine for me at the moment, the 1st and 2nd would probably be the more appealing of the two.

I don’t want to pick the dates that suit me best, would sooner have a general consensus, but thanks anyway. 🙂

CWBalmer – We are having meets other places this year, and we have done in the past, surely we can have one day at MAN a year? Everyone likes to get back to MAN!

BTW – All this about AMS on the 31st, is it just an exclusive club or can anyone join in? Would like to get booked up for that! :).

You’re more than welcome, Tom. Was just trying to finalise a date for AMS first. Still not 100% sure when that date will be, but it will definitely be happening, I’m determined to get to AMS this summer!

I probably can’t do the first week in August for MAN though… lol
