We’ve moved on from the jet or prop thing! :p
It was the upper deck of a Thai 743, Very good. ๐
Next airline and type?
Not too difficult.
What about this one? Aircraft ( and airline if you’re feeling really clever! ๐ )
Very good! I found this photo and was suitably impressed with the interior. Some people associate turboprops with being small and cramped, certainly not the Q400!
Roomy and looking v. comfortable, can’t wait for the 3rd of June! ๐
You beat me to it! ๐ That’s the link I was looking for.
I had forgotten how weird it looks! ๐ฎ ๐

WORK was due to begin today on a ยฃ10 million air traffic control
tower at Edinburgh airport.
The 57-metre-high structure, which will replace the old building at
the former RAF Turnhouse site, is expected to be completed by the
summer of 2005.
The airport was set to hold a ground-breaking ceremony attended by
Donald Anderson, leader of Edinburgh City Council, and Richard
Jeffrey, managing director of Edinburgh Airport, who were together
cutting the first sod. Mr Jeffrey said: “The construction of this
new air traffic control tower is a further significant investment
from BAA in its Scottish airport infrastructure, offering National
Air Traffic Services a purpose-built and modern facility from which
to provide its vital control and safety services.”
Councillor Anderson added: “Demand for air travel is growing, not
least in Edinburgh and Scotland. The Capitalโs airport is predicted
to carry between 17 and 19 million passengers by 2030 and this
development will ensure it is perfectly poised to cope with this
growth. A world-class city needs a world-class airport and this
investment by BAA will play a key role in securing this.”
The control tower, being constructed on the approach road to the
airport, will ensure NATS has the capacity to manage the growth in
air traffic expected at Edinburgh Airport over the next 30 years.
I remember a pic of it getting posted somewhere. I’ll see if I can find the link.
The big crane will have been for the multi-storey car park which is now almost finished. Another couple of months and it should be done.
The runway isn’t used as a taxiway, it is used for backtracking if necessary, however that’ll be a thing of the past come later this year when the taxiways are completed.
That is a very nice photo!
No point. Hence the ๐ True though ๐
One thing about the F50, when the doors are open it would say ‘bena’ ๐
I had no doubt that the first photo mentioned was authentic.
But I ahve my doubts over this one! Photoshopped?

Does the cheatline run along the whole length of the fuselage, just that we can’t see it, or does it stop then restart, above the registration.
Looking good! ๐
It’s since their change from AMM to FCA, it’s confused the system.
It’ll just be especially for the Olympics, if they go ahead. Anyone seen the state of the main venue recently!!
I think you’ll find it’s 18 seats. I presume the whole row is blocked off.
