    Very lucky!

Very skillful more like! 😀 Excellent pics, all of them, looks like you had a hot-air balloon hanging around in the distance too. 😉

Thanks alot guys, I too am happier with how these ones came out, but I’d hope so, because even though the light still wasn’t perfect it was significantly better than when I went for the B747 the other night.
The BA B752 had one of the shortest take-off runs and then did proceed to literally rocket off into the sky! 😀

Needless to say, that was one of the best football matches I’ve seen in a very long time/ever! 😮 Well done Liverpool.

The runway at PIK is about 10000ft I think.

Is the 4th one (the one below PIK) LPL?

    Couldn’t agree more.

The soundtrack to it was extremely funny when Radio Two’s Johnny Walker first aired it two or three years ago as ‘world exclusive footage of the new Jordan F1 car’, but since it became mainstream it’s now just utterly tedious. Chavs love it though.

Exactly! What’s even more irritating is that the dance track ‘re-mix’ is expected to go to the top of the charts later today. 😡

    Thanks.

Well done Stuart, can you remember if you used any different settings on that last EZY shot?

I know shots in bad weather are very difficult, and certainly don’t give you chance to show off full potential. Get down there on Thursday, I’ll be practising at STN too!

That particular pic was taken in auto mode. 😉 I discovered over the time I’ve had the camera and taking pics, not just aviation related, but in general, that the auto mode is particularly good! 🙂 So, although I have been mucking about with settings, not in that particular pic, I let the camera do the work…

As expected the forecast has changed significantly, but it’s safe to say that I will definitely be out when the sun appears, whatever day it chooses to be. Wednesday is currently showing as the best day.

RIPcioncorde, for example at MAN. I flew last year from MAN-TFS on TCX 753, we used 6L for departure then headed North and then west, getting a good view of MAN and a 742 lifting off 😉
I suppose it depends on the SIDs and STARs being used on that day

Indeed, that same prodedure is used for 06 departures at EDI, it’s just unusual for a runway 24 departure.
