Let’s keep this thread on topic chaps 😀

What equipment will GSM be using on long-haul next year, [i]if[/b] they start long-hul operations? B767?

According to the article I posted, B777 is what they are ‘hoping’ for.

Well, havent the A345s been seen on the likes of LGW-DXB?

They must use them on the routes for a reason.

One A345 route just now is DXB-ZRH, even shorter than DXB-LGW! I don’t suppose it makes much odds to EK with the amount of money they have behind them.

Looks like the DC10 wasa load of PPrune bull. 😉 But they are getting a couple of B736s to operate GLA-STN/LGW, there is no contest though is there? It has to be LGW, EZY have been very successful on LGW-EDI, and why try and compete with FR and EZY to STN when there is no need to?

Exciting times ahead for Flyglobespan and Scottish aviation. Let’s just hope they don’t get too ambitious, but I am confident that Mr Dalrymple knows what he is doing. 😉

Wrong Bmused. The DXB-GLA will be an ordinary 773. The ERs are going on to DXB-BKK-SYD.

It’ll be a 77W, whatever that’s meant to be?

Excellent pics. Monday is going to be a busy day for traffic between EDI and CWL, that’s fo sure! 😉 There are 3 or 4 BY B763s on the route alone, with a host of other things.
They sure like taking a wide line onto D1 link, don’t they?!

No need to patronise me here RIP

Why the mention of EDI vs GLA then, from anyone? Given EDI hasn’t been mentioned once in this thread. If anything it should be MAN vs GLA given that MAN appears to have taken GLA’s B762.
But of course, we don’t want either, we want peace and harmony for all….. 😉

And to think this thread once again has turned from a MAN thread to a possibility of a GLA v EDI thread. How many of these have we seen latley!!

What’s EDI got to do with anything here? I think you’re getting a bit neurotic.
