Why would you question it? They are hardly going to waist there time putting it all in there timetable and on there website if they had no intentions of operating it.

Why wouldn’t they do ALC and MJV from ABZ? If they can do them to EDI then they can do them from ABZ.

MJV is done from EDI partly to keep Jet2 in check. The ABZ-MJV is clearly incorrect for a start which is why I’m questioning it, so whether it’s a mistake for it to even be included or if it is going to be included in the routes to be announced and the timetable totally changed remains to be seen.

Excellent report Robert, I like the Scot and Delta shot. Indeed the GVA flights are doing very well. Hopefully EZS will continue them daily as opposed to 4x weekly next summer as average monthly loads have been in the mid 90% all summer, 94% last month.
Did you not rate GVA for spotting then?

Starts operating one of the BHX-EDI-BHX rotations on 22nd September (BE292/295). Doesn’t actually start on SOU-EDI-SOU until 9th January when it does one of the morning rotations.

Was planned to be doing EXT-BHX-BHD-GLA-EDI-EXT (or something like that) on 13th September. I presume that is still happening?

Iberia had slots for an daily MAD-EDI service starting this summer using A319, but disappointly it never happened for whatever reason, but that’s a lot closer than EZY have come to starting the route so far anyway. With the amount of Spanish toursits alone travelling between the 2 cities on charters in the summer the demand is clearly there.
