Woah! They are the craziest wingtip vortices I have ever seen! 😮

…….. That thing is random for an airport.

It doesn’t actually have anything to do with the airport. 😀 It is there on land adjacent to the airport, where a Sunday market is currently held. This market is moving out in a few months (?) due to the land being needed for expansion of EDI onto this land, though I can’t see this expansion happening for a few years yet.

Excellent pics, really enjoyed them. I particularly like the pic with the bmibaby and new departure lounge extension in it.

No image matches that ID number

Is that the right link. I wanna see it.

That’s because it is no longer queued.

CELA should be operating out of LBA with that name! 🙂

I though CELA was based at MAN, and that pic would have been when it was operating the MAN-EDI flights?

    Probably wrong though 🙂

    Nice shot Joe 🙂

The EDI-MAN flights are all operated by the EDI based aircraft, CELA probably was based at MAN but a week or two ago has now been deployed to EDI, presumably with G-CELZ going to another Jet2 base, MAN? Locos tend to change around their based aircraft alot.

Joe, from what I can gather, G-CELA has replaced G-CELZ as the based Jet2 aircraft at EDI, as it is also a ‘QC’.
Very nice too BTW. 😉 I now much prefer Jet2’s updated tail design to the previous one, too much silver on the last design, but the red now breaks it up nicely. 🙂

And presumably that frees up the 738 to go elsewhere.

Anyone got any SCY752 experiences they can tell me about?

I flew OH-LBS, MAN-HER when it was subbed in for what was meant to be a Flyjet B752. To be honest, it’s likely to be more comfortable than the Excel B738 would have been. Even though it was quite possibly my worst flight ever. 😉 Ok, well it was simply due to the fact that after the 3 hour delay(Flyjet’s fault), no food (Flyjet’s fault) and my ‘window’ seat turned out to be a nice blank wall. 😡 As you can tell, I’ve never had any horror stories concerned with any of the flights I’ve taken, hence why that particular flight was my worst. 😉

Excellent pics, don’t often see LH A320s at EDI over the winter!
Also, CO have reverted back to a daily service from today.
