When was the last time there were as many airworthy Hurricanes as there are now?

One day I would love to own a flying replica of a Viper, not sure CAA would be so accommodating though…

So what if the goal had been allowed, what is to say the game wouldn’t have finished 2-4? Losing by ‘only’ 2 goals is exactly the same as losing by 3!

Why was the Hunter painted in the striking colour scheme rather than a more traditional RAF scheme?

I hope not, I’ve always had a soft spot for the Hurricane!

I thought they might, I guess they were practicing for the up and coming display season and I’m bound to see them out again.

I saw G-XCUB taxiing along the W-E runway at Popham this lunch time.

Sorry – you’ve lost me…………who said anything about perfect drivers?

Ahem, I like to think I am the perfect driver!

I have my HGV license, car, mini bus, van, I drive 150-200 kilometres a day and never feel the need to shout at other drivers. I am a kind, courteous and considerate driver and all of the scrapes and my written of car can all be explained (after a few minutes thought) and proved not to have been my fault!

Why did the RAF feel the need to issue a statement saying ‘it was a “light-hearted moment” and insisted the crew had not endangered the aircraft.’?
Surely they hadn’t received a complaint from a member of the public who thought holding a piece of paper was dangerous? 😮

I was greeted with my own personal flypast of a Tornado GR4 yesterday flying a couple of thousand feet over Shipton doing circuits from EGDM. 😀

I too am a HGV driver and several weeks ago experienced dangerously impatient car driving because I was allowing HGV drivers the space they need.
I was driving along the A303 dual carriage way and was overtaking 4 HGVs, as I was between 4th and 3rd a lady in her 50’s driving quite new Jaguar came speeding up behind me. Knowing how dangerous it is to squeeze in between HGVs following each other about 4 seconds apart I continued to overtake, driver behind me didn’t like this so she got within 1 metre of my rear bumper at 70mph. I continued to overtake remaining trucks before moving back into left hand lane upon which car behind accelerated away at some considerable speed!
Today I had a car pull out in front of me quite late on dual carriage way at 45 and driver made no attempt to accelerate to 60/70 for about 1 minute, if he’d waited 2 seconds I would have passed him.
