    canberra

hi in my experance the canberra is one of the best suited, i have canberra b2 wj676 and also vampire t11 xd602, both of which are travelling exhibits i do about 20/30 a year asa well as the auster http://www.austertj398.co.uk , the canberra is easy to get in and out of and will take 4 at a time and easy to manage, the vampire is more of a pain as you need ladders to gain access and the ols h/safety comes in

dont remind me stuart wheels bounce well over crageways ?? all ways looks good with the old trany vampire on the back towing the canberra followed by a an other van towing the auster ?? allways nice to get back at those caravans

hi weve been on 4 lanc wrecks 2 of which were canadians 419 sqds kb745 and kb785, 785 has now a memorial in the center of sedgefield that we helped with, most of the crews relitives were there for the unvieling . 745 was differant we found the site a week before the sunderland airshow a long time past? at the air show was a guy fred chatwinn rcaf displaying his photos as part of a bomber command display with his aircaft kb745 story goes that he was unable to fly this last mission as w/o to the sub penns in bergen, the aircraft crashed on return to base but was told only that it cashed in the scottish highlands, two weeks later this 70+ year old canadian was standing on the wreck site 2,000 feet up the cheviot, conditions were typical for the cheviots thick fog we climbed a little to high and had to cut back down were we came across some scree in the middle of this was the carcuss of freds radio he full filled his dream that day in saying goodbye to his mates

    jet pipe

By kind permission of the Vulcan team, here is the new jetpipe fitted to 319. Apparently it is stainless steel, so should last a bit longer. Enquiries for jet pipes for your Vulcan should be made via NEAM….. wow….

Grant, Michael and Chris REALLY need your help now!!!!!

yes john we need your help now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :

I have just recieved confirmation that XL319 is now sporting at least one brand new jet pipe end cap. I’ll obviously leave it to the team to post photo’s and give credits for the work.

All I want to say is: WELL DONE VULCAN TEAM!!!!!!!

the end cap is the first of the 4 to be fitted , made by a guy (John) out of stainless steel sheets ? who lives round the courner to the museum we met last thurs took 1 rusted end cap to him on fri and the 3 of us fitted it today tues the lumps and bumps to be fitted later the vulcan team are now i think down to 2 we need help to do this old girl up just to see her survive so come on get off your computers and give us a hand you will make a differance we have a new manage ment team and a new coffee machine ??? so as the old advert goes this vulcan needs you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:diablo::p
