If there is, it would only be in one state…each state has its own laws.

Perhaps there is something in an ancient book on federal troops activated in the event of martial law (rare…I can’t recall federal troops being used that way). In fact there is the Posse Comitatus Act that prevents federal troops used for law enforcement except in an extreme emergency.

I meant MOST USA state laws. Looting while rioting holds forth some interesting consequences for the perp in most all states. While they vary from place to place where I live and as well as surrounding states its grounds to be shot on sight. Anyone taking advantage of a natural disaster to rob someone is held in Mississippi and Louisiana and several states as grounds to be shot when caught. I know it works in these 2 states either that or a hell of a lot of DA’s turned the other cheek because quite a few of the looters got picked off here. If you are from the US I am sure you can see for yourself what happened in New Orleans after Katrina. It happened quite a bit. ruin the image of who’s country? I am an American citizen and happen to agree with that law..

Oh dear. Ask not what you can do for your Country? Here is a man saying he will do whatever he wants with no thought for anyone else, least of all his own Government. The only difference between your good self and the rioters in the UK is about 4,000 miles. They have the same disregard for society which you displated in your post above. There is a lot of difference between me and a rioter. I am not a criminal. I am also not a socialist. As to the other comment to Mr. Boyle you must live in one of the communist states such as new york, illinois or maybe california. If you riot in my state you get shot, Period. No such thing as oh whoa as me he shot a crook. The law in a vast majority of states allow this. In a state of lawlessness what would you rather do? I have a friend who is very liberal. Always was troubled by me always being armed. I asked the universal question I always ask libtards. If a crook shows up and says give me your wallet and oh yeah I am gonna shoot you so you can’t talk what am I to do? A. Say I don’t know you and tell the perp to have at it?

Or

B. Shoot the scumbag and save your life.

Human self preservation should tell you even this liberal chose option B..
I am not a lawless person but the government WILL respect my rights as a free person. The 2nd amendment of the US constitution keeps the US free. Freedoms folks in europe gave away in the interest of the “betterment of all” you certainly don’t have to like what I believe in as that is your choice. However europe with the EU and all the socialist way of thinking will be your downfall. Pardon me for not agreeing to submit to it.

Last but not least there is a difference between being a lawless criminal and being an orderly citizen. You going to wear a purple shirt because the government says so? I won’t I will only wear purple if it suits my liking. What’s bad about that? Never said I was going to rob someone because they are there. Jay it will be hard to get rid of libs and lefties. Weaker people in the world that want more power have the idea that in order to stay in power they have to restrict the peasantry. They are trying hard in the US to align to the EU way of thinking. This is idiotic to be put mildly. I don’t think it would pass muster given a vote of the people. A majority of the world thinks that the government can solve everyone’s problem. To me big government is the problem. Nothing better than being totally free to choose your destiny in life. Riots in the US are rare. The reason they are rare is there is a law on the books saying a rioter can be shot on sight. Not much incentive to run around burning cars when the owner can and will shoot and kill the person doing it. People can say. I am nuts but it works. Granted this isn’t “Politically Correct”
