Hi Arthur , nice to see u over here, never expected 🙂

and here are a few more pictures and also the specs from Tupolev …. and as usual they are sometimes confusing … but never mind i hope u guys can come over that …

And to give u guys an idea as to how much the Russians lack in marketing and presenting their products , I let u guys a nice shot of two of the Tu-334s copetitors — the new ERJ-190 and in the background A-318 …. again for a smooth sale of which EADS has ‘contacted’ the Russians to make sure that Tu-334 don get into A318s was with its seating capacity..

But if the Russians obliged that, they would be the biggest looser …. not to mention the R’export deal of Brazalian AF Su-35 in which they Russian Govt have offered to but 100s of Embraer jets …. which mean axing Tu-334 and the yet to fly smaller sibling 50 seater Tu-324.

But y do u think thats never gona happen???….. if ever a requirement arise, I bet it would be this A380 modified which would get a new role and that cannot be sidlined, the a/c as such has got a lot of potential and its truly Europes first real a/c which has made a difference and that can also happen in the military transport too…..

But then again only when requirements come will that happen, BTW how many A-300-600ST’s are there? …its a completely different a/c and probably the ugliest (?)

coming back, as u can see for such a config (heavy lift), they need to redesign 3-4 sections (though I may be wrong), the tail end section, the middle section and the front section….. hopefully u can see from the picture the different section which have been joined(though it cant be defined correctly), I don know correctly as to how many sections but from the color difference and the fuselage markings and shape it can be made out …..

In that the middle section would be the one needing a heavy work (comparatively as that would include the remounting the wings, the front section as u can see that piece itself would be redesigned – maybe as little as just to keep that pilots butts up so as for the front ramp (like the An-124 and C-5) ….. then the rear fuselage which might be angled bit more higher with a tail similar to the An-124 and C-5 …. I guess Airbus might have though abt that, though just a speculation from me …but its not that it can never happen ……

so we now move on to the youngest member of the Tu-204 family …. the Tu-204-300 or earlier designated Tu-234, this one is a shortest (lengthwise)member of the Tu-204 family. Tu-204-300 has got 6 meter shorter fuselage than the regular Tu-204 family whose overall length is 46 meters. This one also is has the longest range in the Tu-204 family.

But these guys dont know how to present their new product and this is how they can be seen now and in every single air show , even looking to that dull painting no one would be even intrested in atleast as to which a/c that is, they ned to learn pretty lot of things to market their new model ….. but then it has alo got some contracts ….

Yes the Airbus History in India, just one Airbus crashed —- in 1993 near Bangalore ….. and there was someone fuelling the fire against the Airbus along with the pilots … and no prize for guessing who would have been adding that propaganda abt Airbus is not suitable to Indian condition etc etc during that time …. after all loosing contract can get real bitter … but then u need to accept others decisions and not backstab ur opponent after the bout … if u dare to fight, fight in open and not stab in the back when the opponent gets moving …

I think all those who wish to talk abt CopeIndia 2004 should debate it in here…. this thread has got pretty more info and those who are arguing abt the damage control for the F-15s with the latest dossiar can read a lot from here …

Google, Hope u discontiue that thread and either lock it or merge it with this one
