nope Google , I guess Granits smaller brothers are the Yakhont and its digital brother the Brahmos 😀 …. the Moskit can be called as the Bigger, stronger and faster brother of Kh-31 and other if the looks are to be concerned …..

k I’ve pulled up the thread…..

well I think this deal is crucial for the Dassault … as I don see any other market for the M2K barring the IAF’s 126 a/c , but if the MiG and Sukhoi come together as they are doing to get the miG-29M2 then French is gone … so its this deal is more improtant for the French …

and whats the latest??…. who has been selected??….

C’mon google ….. thats not fair ….. give the credit where its due.. and its not a secret that many Indians in particular NRI’s and also who are into too much of western stuffs think that Russians are dumb in software and others … and thats pity … and also many Indians have a feeling that softwares wil make India lead the Chinese not knowing the bitter fact that its just a matter of time b4 Chinese too learn english and the software advantage is just gone … so what atleast indian needs to understand is that base has to be there for development and thats – quality hardware else, there wont be any use of software – its like a flesh w/o any structure aka bones …. u’ll just be there where u r!

so the kaveri wud be of the same dimension as the RD-33 ……. wel then y not do the jonb og havig developing the Kaveri-2 (speculative name) for the production version based on the 5th gen RD-333 with 24,500 lbs… thats wud give the LCA a damn good thrust and hopefull the load too can be increased …. well hope to see that in future…. by that the service and logistics too wud become very much simple as ‘three’ a/c wud be using these – LCA, MiG-29SMT and M2 (if it gets through) and MiG-29K ….. as in anyway MiG-29’s in the future will be powered by these new engines too….. so y not make a start itself.. and so do i want to see a more powerful LCA …. that 20,000 lbs is good but ….. Kya kare, Yeh Dil Mangee Morrreeee !!! 😀

pic of ballistics missils and info needed both SLBM and ICBM’s .. that of Russia and US and others too. but hopefuuly Agni and Gauri can wait … others pls do post ….

Topol-M, its SLBM version the French SLBM, etc etc…

hey u sud have put this in the missile thread…… after all thats ought to be the one for this one…… and surely hope the mods / admin wont feel that threads like ….. Army thread , Armor thread wont fell odd in here …. so Google y not start one??…….

the members of this forum are so well informed that its rather unfair that the topic sud be just confined to aviation, but considering that its an aviation forum, threads like Navy thread can come up for rach branch like – army thread, so as to include the infanty weapons , artillery etc etc and Armor thread to include the heavies…or include that too in the army thread….. hope the members over here will agree to my views… but for now Google , we can close this one and post this news in the Missile Thread ……

The best option is to built 2-3 more carriers (and French wud need it, so y not start it anyway) and that will gaurantee that Rafales be there in numbers and so will it make its price come down a little ….. and Y not the French offer the Russian A-G ordinace with the rafales, thats wud be a good option too…. as anyone wud love to se their AF having the capablity to wade off any carrier battle group from their shores 500km away and air-launched Klub-wud do that fine and Rafales can become tha carrier for that ….
